(Exclusive) Days of Future Past (Rogue Cut) FULL Reaction

Even though these movies never get how powerful Magneto and Storm are. The scene with them vs the sentinels is probably my favorite of all the X-men movies. Also the professor feeling Storm death is definitely a moment as storm along with cyclops and Jean are basically his trinity for the X-men.

It is part of Kitty powerset it’s actually her that goes back in time in comics. Also movies changed a lot cyclops is actually the older the brother. Also Rogue can definitely keep a person powers for a while. The first movies we don’t really see how long she has wolverine powers for. Also here’s a future hint she had captain marvel powers for years at one point.

but jean dies at the end of x-men 2, so how could that film still be in the new timeline

Holden at the end of X-men 3 they clearly show how magneto slightly moved the chess piece hinting at the cure being only temporary. That's how he and Rogue both had their powers.

this is one of my favorite x-men movies because (again it features Wolverine) but it also brings back alot of the original cast. and while it does show parts of previous movies that it supposedly erased it still acknowledges them to a point. I look at this movie like its a fresh start to the franchise and sets it up to be merged with the MCU like you were saying. I like that they brought back Rogue (even if its only in the Rogue cut and not the original release). they really underused her character and i hope that they do her better justice when they merge the x-men into the mcu. (I'm going to call it and say that they will introduce the x-men during the whole conflict with Scarlet Witch / Dr. Strange. and i hope to god they bring Hugh Jackman back for at least a cameo as Wolverine)
