I really, really enjoyed this movie when I first saw it. It was what I always wanted in a Spider-Man movie. As I’ve mentioned before, I was never a fan of Tobey McGuire. His movies were good, but I always felt he was a great Peter but terrible Spider-Man. Far too serious. I grew up on immature, wise-cracking Spider-Man and I didn’t get that with McGuire. Andrew Garfield I enjoyed far more as Spider-Man (but not as Peter) although his movies weren’t the greatest. Tom Holland for me was what I always envisioned a live action Spider-Man to be like. He played him so much like how I remember in the comics. My only complaint with the movie was the whole Iron Man Jr. thing. Not for the reasons that most people have. In the comics I remember him idolizing Captain America…a vanilla dude but still a great role model (Chris Evans’ portrayal made me a fan of the character). This movie though, they changed it so that he looks up to Mr. Almighty Douchebag Tony Stark? That I couldn’t get behind and even after the events of Endgame I still can’t. I’m cool with Spider-Man having all that technology though because I feel like it modernizes him. That Tony Stark thing however, I will never be okay with. Anyway, glad Jen liked the movie. I think she’s really going to enjoy Thor: Ragnarok but we’ll see.

When spiderman is trying to lift the building up and Jen just yawned lol I was like uh oh but Im glad to see she enjoyed it, now on to the heavy hitters 👍🙌

Glad that the VFX turned out so well. I stayed up really late on Sunday putting that together lol

Hopefully in the future we'll be able to knock out some more, if everything aligns right. Cause I was really wanting to do the Amazing Spider-man movies too.
