(Early Access) My girlfriend watches Avengers: Age of Ultron

I liked this movie, only issue I have is just the trope in a lot of team-up movies where the team just fights waves of non-human goons who the audience doesn't have to feel bad for. Just feels like a reason to add cool-looking action scenes with no impact on the plot.

Civil War takes itself seriously as well, yet it's generally well praised, so I don't think that's the issue of Age of Ultron.

I personally don't love Age of Ultron because too many characters talk and act the same way. You got Cap telling jokes, Ultron telling jokes, Thor telling jokes which isn't his personality yet. A better presentation in terns of mashing multiple characteristics to me is Civil War, Infinity War, Endgame and even the first Avengers (so basically all the other team up movies lol). Age of Ultron is like a 6.5 for me.

Wow. You guys are catching up fast. I’m one of the few people that loved this movie. I even loved it more than the first Avengers. Ultron has always been my favorite Avengers villain so I was really excited to finally see him live action. James Spader, who I had previously seen in the movie Stargate (fantastic movie and television series), did a great job as Ultron. Tony Stark....every movie I hate him just a little bit more than the last. Also, I think I’m probably in the minority of people who liked the Hulk / Black Widow love arc. Hulk is my favorite Avenger and Black Widow is my wife’s favorite so we were really excited to see them have a relationship tease. We were all for the pairing. As two really messed up human beings I think they would’ve been good together.

Love when Thor comes in during the fighting between the team no one challenges him. Also in comics Spider-Man has been apart of the avengers but he’s not a member that often. The fight for the twins was because they’re Avengers for years but at the time of the movie they were mutants and magneto kids so that’s why they were split up. Also the mind stone is from Loki spear the tesseract is in Asgard.

People hated what they did with ultron. The movie had other little issues that you can get over. It’s just they didn’t do ultron right or else this movie would’ve been really reallly good.

The biggest complaints are about ultron. They just got him completely wrong. It’s one of the movies that had some really good things and some things that were terrible (Ultron, widow/Bruce).

So happy you liked this movie, Jen! It foreshadows Phase 3 events in a way that only makes sense when you reach the end. And I couldn’t agree more with you that Tony Stark is indeed the hero of the film :) #teamstark

I think that a lot of the later material makes Age of Ultron a much better film, same with Thor: The Dark World. That’s the magic of this story is that the films are weaved together to strengthen them as a whole.

I think you're incorrect again with people not liking this movie. People generally like this movie. The only complaints people have are Hulk Widow romance and what Thor did in the 2nd act. Dislike is a very strong word.
