A Live Conversation with Little Light Studios

I can’t wait to watch this. As another commenter stated, I am also an atheist with a background in evangelical Christianity. That ended in my mid 20s (I’m 35 now), but I’ve been closely following the Religion V. Non-religion debate “scene” every year since, and what I fear from watching this is your hosts attempting to trip you up in a gotcha-style QnA, as some debaters attempt to do. Regardless, maybe it will backfire as their normal audience will get to see a more open-minded style of Christianity that I didn’t even get to see growing up. Looking forward to watching, and thanks for the amazing content you put out, Holden.

I was raised in a major Catholic family. I went to catholic school for 9 years and church twice a week. I've studied scripture, mythologies, history, etc. I'm not a religious or really even spiritual person. I've looked for religions that make sense to me to little success. I don't rage on anyone for being religious despite the major faults I find in religion in general. What I don't like is closed-minded people who present fallacies in their arguments. That being said, I could only get through about 30 minutes of that video because it was SO painful to watch. Holden, you were great and made sense in your comments, but the other 3 (in particular the bearded one next to you) made me so angry with his ignorance and arrogance that I just couldn't keep going. The live comments section was even worse. There were so many issues with what was being said that even God was probably like "Dude... no. That's not how this works." It's people like them that really do not help religion's bad rep these days.

I love those videos. I am an Atheist myself, but that came as a result of 10 years of catholic school, so I did my share of scripture reading, praying and even preaching. I find you approach very refreshing. You provide good arguments and common sense. I might not be there for the live stream but I will be sure to watch later on. Good luck Holden.
