Well at least the comments will be fun to read on Saturday when this video comes out. I agree with Matt but also don't because this is only the beginning of Phase 4. I liked what Marvel did it was different and made me see more payoff at the end than in 75% of the other copy and paste Marvel movies. I do see why Matt is so disgruntle about how the series ended.

There was supposed to be so much more from this show. They had way more with Darcy, Ralph/Rambeau and a couple other small things planned. Then they never got round to filming it cause of Covid and released it anyway. I enjoyed it massively, but feel it really could’ve wrapped up nicely if it hadn’t been rushed out.

Once again, I love your editing style in these last two videos. As far as Matt’s reaction, I am not surprised that he did not like the spectacle, but I assumed he would love the fact that this was all about grief and how can control you if you let it. I also expected a bigger reaction to the “but what is grief, if not love persevering” line. It’s hard to anticipate what Matt will like, but I really think he would like Falcon and the Winter Soldier since it is a lot more grounded and deals with real life issues. Great job Holden!

It was going to be tough to win Matt over in the end with how different and unique this show is. Especially cause he hates sitcoms. I honestly thought that line from Vision would have hit him more. I Personally really liked the show overall. I think the ending needed some work but I still liked it. I really don't get his criticism about how Monica, Jimmy and Darcy not belonging here. This is the MCU. People can pop up whenever and wherever. That's the beauty of it. I hate the criticsm that it didn't feel like an ending and it had a cliff hanger. The story was about Wanda overcoming her grief and the West View anomaly. All those threads ended but Wanda's journey continues. I think He'll really like Falcon and the Winter Solider hopfully. I know we are only two epsiodes in. But I think he'll really like the Bucky therapy stuff and the relevancy of certain topics like systemic racism.

I can agree with Matt here, the only reason I know what’s going on is because I’ve read and brushed up on Wanda’s history. For someone who doesn’t really have insight to that backstory they won’t know who Agatha is, why she’s important, who the kids really are, and so on. After giving myself some time to process this series, yea I can see how messy it is, how some stuff isn’t explained properly, and seeing how many things were packed in for the sake of set up for future MC titles. It was a fantastic show but just because it’s visually stunning and impactful doesn’t excuse its shortcomings. Beautiful performances, visually stunning, but some story elements fall flat.
