Clone Wars is definitely worth the watch! Even though it's a cartoon, it's a great show.

What you said is basically right, he's Conservative they're Liberal. Also, just so I can hopefully change your mind about the midi-chlorians. Midi-chlorians speak and flow with the Force and are attracted to it. Force powers don't come from them, rather they flock to Force-sensitive individuals, which is why Jedi with high m counts are usually strong. Not because they're born with the midi-chlorians, but because they flock to the powerful ones.
