But yeah, unfortunately, I didn't like how they were setting Peter up to be the next Iron Man even though they said they weren't lol. I grew up on the old spiderman cartoon from the 90s so having Iron Man so heavily involved in his development is kinda weird to me, even though I liked their relationship in the mcu.

I actually wanted him to go back to Sony because I want to continue enjoying Marvel movies. I hope something changes before I have to just stop watching these movies. I know he’s gonna be more prevalent in future movies. I just don’t want him ruining them for me. It’s a shame too because Tom Holland is a good actor and I love the character of Spider-Man. I’d like to see him come back to movies. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen Peter. I miss him.

I have my reasons (mostly inconsistencies and plot holes I couldn't get past) but the huge variance in subjective reactions taught me to not turn my opinions into objective statements. Instead of saying "this movie sucked", I'll say "it didn't work for me" - thus avoiding a lot of time-wasting arguments.
