Some Quick Updates

This is just a little blog post to fill you lovely patrons in on what I’m working on!

As part of my ongoing plan to "realify" Neoidentity by removing AI-generated images, I am going to be editing the stories for the IDTG Vitra series. I probably will not change the prose too much since my focus will be on replacing the images, but I cannot deny that I might tweak a few things along the way. I just reread the first story, and I have to admit it feels a little rough. At the time, I was rushing to get content out while juggling my job, and it definitely shows.

Obviously, I will make sure the final images are licensed once I have made a decision.

I am also considering a change to IDTG Vitra 06, which is currently just a collection of short captions. Instead of keeping it as is, I may turn it into a brand-new story, with the captions remaining as a side feature rather than a full entry. I have already written another story for the series, a prequel set in Colonial Indonesia, but I was not happy with how it turned out, so for now, it is just sitting on my computer collecting digital dust. If I decide to abandon it completely, I will release it here as a bonus, though there is a chance I might try to salvage it. Right now, it is an 8,000-word bloated mess that drags on and is just plain dull.

Another project I am reworking is Curse of the Wereslut. I am shifting it from second person to third person and trying to restructure it so that it reads more like a novel rather than a collection of loosely connected individual stories. The challenge is that every entry in the series requires a transformation, which makes it difficult to structure in a more traditional way, but I might add extra sections to bridge the gaps and make it work as a full book. One of my long-term goals is to eventually sell a physical book, though I have no idea who would actually buy such a thing. It would definitely make for an interesting conversation piece if I had guests over and casually pointed it out, saying, "Oh yeah, that is a race change story where a white guy becomes a Chinese dick-sucking whore. Cool, right?"

I also mentioned working on a novella before, but that project is currently on hold, and a lot of what I originally wrote for it ended up being repurposed into VCS. If you forgot, the novella was going to be about someone making a deal to give up their body for one day a month to instantly learn language, only to be corrupted by the person who uses their body. I love the idea and I might return to it later when I have the time and energy to do it justice.

Finally, I have been thinking about revisiting Operation Samsara. I love the concept, but just like Hail New Korea, the stories naturally expand in scope as I write them, which makes it difficult to keep everything under control. It either becomes unwieldy or starts feeling too repetitive, and I am still figuring out how to handle that issue.
