Announcing Vignettes, a New Website Design and Pricing Changes

So far I've been writing two kinds of content. What I had called 'stories' which originally were around 3500 words but have recently ballooned in size to upwards of 7000 words, and what I had called captions (usually about 350 words and meant to be easily shared).
I have concluded that this is quite restrictive and it would be great if I could make shorter, quicker content that also had space for detail. From this thinking, I have made a new level of content called 'vignettes' which are placed around 1500 words (at the moment, I may change this). You can find the first of this content attached to this post or on my website here. Because of this change, the longer format stories are now called 'Long Reads.'
Paired with this, I have been frustrated at how slow my website has been. I spoke to a web-design buddy of mine and he told me that a new design could help a lot. So I have done that and the website is about twice as fast as it was before! I hope you like the new design.
Finally, I have decided to increase the price of my Patreon. DON'T WORRY IT WON'T AFFECT YOU IF YOU ARE ALREADY A SUBSCRIBER! I will limit the base $3 tier to 40 people, which means everyone reading this will be unaffected. The new price for anyone beyond these 40 people will be $6, which I still think is very reasonable.
Much more to come soon and thanks for supporting me so far! I love each and every one of you! I plan to use the money I get from you all to commission some stories from writers I love or art from great artists. Hopefully that will be soon!
