Hello all!

The rendering is where I want it to be, roughly. I managed to get where I wanted to be by Sunday despite having issues... note to self: no dforce hair ever... Right, the current scene will take two days to render, and to my annoyance it's almost double the usual render time, then there is at least two days for the last two scenes. Assuming there are no issues with any of them. So, things are going in the right direction. And most of you already know that in the long run rendering taking one or two days longer doesn't matter much. Anyway...

Writing... I mostly did some auxiliary writing over the weekend, but overall it's in okay shape. I'm mostly happy and should be able to continue tonight. Granted, writing something not so critical was kind of needed just to ensure things would go smoothly. And I'm going to avoid spoilers now... so...

Lan, Red Lily... Just for the record, she isn't shooting in the air. There is a third guy behind her who got hit. But you can’t see it from this angle. And her pose is... slightly unrealistic but a) she is flexible and b) magic... that's my excuse. Lan is... I'm not going to say problematic character, but more unknown. Why Lan got introduced when she did? That is a good question. The answer is. I already knew that I would make a sequel, and Lan is one of the core members of the house, so I wanted them to be there already. This way, things are easier going forward regarding all of them. They are there, and I don’t need to make another elaborate way to introduce any of them. Anyway, time to fix some issue, take a break and continue rendering.
