(Early Access) A discussion of Christian media

Footless Jo joins me in this video to talk about some issues we have with Christian media, and also talk about some Christian's films that are worth a watch. I hope you guys like this one.

2020-06-19 16:23:06 +0000 UTCI'm an atheist with a religious younger brother, and this video is very similar to some of the epic discussions he and I have had. While we hold vastly different beliefs on the nature of reality, we've both managed to retain the positive lessons of our Catholic upbringing (service, compassion, humility) while rejecting the more destructive tenets (gender roles, etc). You (Holden) remind me a bit of my little brother, which only makes me like you and this channel more. Respect.

2020-06-18 22:06:38 +0000 UTCI'm not a religious person at all, but this was still interesting to see. There's stuff in those movies we can all learn from, no matter what your personal beliefs are. I've seen and liked most of those movies you mentioned, I absolutely loved Unbroken and Hacksaw Ridge, guess I'm going to have to check out Silence soon.

As someone who was also raised an evangelical and had to struggle to figure out what I believed after becoming an adult, your perspectives really are a breath of fresh air.
