The highlight of my week
Added 2019-11-03 19:54:40 +0000 UTCI've been out of town since Friday to visit Spooky Empire in Tampa Florida. The only reason I wanted to go was to meet Sam Raimi, director of the original Spider-man trilogy and Evil Dead.
You guys know of my deep love for those Spider-man movies. I've even done a few video essays on them.
I had a 35mm still from the very first Spider-Man movie with a quote from Sam on the back. When I met him, he was so kind and loved my Spider-man tattoo. When I told him about my love of the Spider-Man movies (like many others before me I'm sure) he told me i made his day. He humored some of my questions and shook my hand. He just seemed very genuine to me when he talked to me with his soft spoken voice.
It was such a meaningful experience for me, and I wanted to share it with you before I make a video about it.
