[All you need is Love] story board old version 1

Hey everyone,

Light and I are taking a break right now ('cause we've worked non stop since several months). But like promise, here's the old version of the story board of the Cadance's story "All you need is love" (maybe renamed Wings of Love, btw).

I know it's really hard to read here. Those pages were made knowing that the song wasn't ready yet (it was just an idea). So, the next pages will have a better quality.

Note: the new version will be completly different.

INT. NIGHT CASTLE

Two shadows are moving into a room filled with pictures on the wall. They are unicorns. The biggest sings to the little one.

SELENDIS — 

I know you want to find the sun, 

and you may think we are strong enough now to do that.

VERSE 1 — 

Once upon a sunrise, (o’er) thousands of years ago

An ancient antiphon of proud ponies of old

When we have once seen a sun that glowed life

When radiance shone in the sky

VERSE 2 — 

The unicorns reign as we've reminisced

They raised the sun that blessed us with its kiss

How unicorns carried with them happiness

All was warmth, and love, and beauty, and bliss

VERSE 3 — 

But the Pegasi, so filled with rancor

Extinguished our sun from us forever

Their sinister mist had covered the sky

And thus came the Wings—

Thus came the Wings of Rime

VERSE 4 — 

All was now frozen, the unicorns were scared

The storms of misfortune they just couldn't bare

The Princess Platinum, in deep sorrow, she cared

A vow was then made to save them from despair

VERSE 5

She appeared before her mother, our First Queen

The outcome which was unforeseen

*INSTRUMENTAL*

PLATINUM

Mother? There's something I need to talk to you about.

PLATINUM’S MOTHER

Oh, Platinum, my precious daughter! You know you can talk to me about anything!

PLATINUM

Mother, I think... I think we should go... we should leave this dying land and find a new one. A land called Unicornia...

PLATINUM’S MOTHER

You... cannot be serious? We are unicorns! We can face this with our magic!

PLATINUM

Mother! Our people are dying! We can't stay here any longer! We need to-- 

PLATINUM’S MOTHER

Enough! We are proud and strong, and we won’t go anywhere! ! If you really wish to leave then go!

VERSE 6 — 

The Queen didn't listen, so stubborn and blind

Turned her back towards her daughter, her gesture unkind

But the Princess was prepared to leave everything behind

She went on her quest, her fate undefined

VERSE 7 — 

The Queen had regretted her words that day
The Wings of Rime took her daughter away
Time then passed, but the storm had grown worse
The magic relied couldn't dispel the curse

SOLDIER — 

My Queen! We need to leave! There's nothing more we can do!

PLATINUM’S MOTHER

... Very well. You were right, Platinum. I'm so sorry...

VERSE 8 —

They soon took refuge in a land of magic

Escaping from a fate most tragic

And so these ponies founded their new utopia

Our home, Unicornia

VERSE 9 — 

For years we survived, now stronger and more

Despite all the fear, against adversity's door

The bonds that we share, and the strength of our pride

Are the reasons that we're here alive

VERSE 10 — 

While we may still seek our sun above

Know this, my child, all you need,
