Weekly Update
Added 2020-09-08 12:16:50 +0000 UTCEverything always takes far longer than it should, somehow. Although, this story absolutely got away from me.
I specifically set out to challenge myself to have it done in a weekend, or a week or so. The idea being it'd have a bunch of scenes with very minimal setup, referencing a lot of past events without showing them, maybe a paragraph or two of setup, and then quickfire scenes too, less depth, straight to the point, less details.
Well that lasted for about half way, maybe a little less. It seems I can't help myself sometimes. Should still make for a somewhat different read and hopefully a good one.
And as I said, everything taking far longer than it should. I've stopped myself from editing anymore, there's just transcribing left to do. I was originally thinking I'd push through tonight to make sure I had it out before this update (my previous thinking was it'd be out at latest by last Wed, then last Sat, then Monday...) but it's not gonna happen, so I'll spare myself the stress of going to work on 3hrs sleep again, and try have it done tomorrow.
Sorry again! Not a very interesting update, I know. It's at least fully written, edited, finished, finalised, all that fun stuff though. So you can take some solace in that...
(Although I did just think of a great epilogue scene earlier... hmmm...)

At the moment I'm not taking on any more commissions, but I do want to and plan to keep going with Bed Full of Blades. I haven't spoken to the commissioner about it one way or another yet, it's just a matter of me making time- which is always painfully limited. Sorry, definitely a pretty boring answer, but it almost always comes back to time for me.
