Ch 16 - A New Dynamic

Hi, Sorry for being slow getting back to you, as I mentioned above I've basically spent the last few days playing host to a friend of mine and haven't really had much access to my computer. First off, obviously I'm really glad you've been following and enjoying the story for as long as you have, that's a fantastic feeling man, thanks! I can understand what you're saying though about this chapter putting you off a little, ultimately, like I mentioned in the Author's Notes, I've come down pretty hard on the NTR in this chapter, more than I have in the others, and if Lon'qu's a character you like then it probably doesn't feel too good seeing him getting screwed over like this. I've tried to be as evenhanded as I can with the marriages, where it's not only the girl's fault, but also that it's not the guy's fault. Lissa and Lon'qu had some friction between them and Robin too advantage of that... But where with Olivia and Gregor, and Ricken and Cordelia, it was pretty obvious where the faults were, Lon'qu hasn't really done anything wrong. He maybe could have been more open and expressive towards Lissa and her own needs, but everyone knows he's got issues with women, it's hard to really put too much on him. So yeah he was hard done by here, and if that's put you off then I'm sorry. It won't be a huge focus of the chapters moving forwards, it's a band-aid that's been largely pulled off now, and the married women are largely completely done until much later in the story anyway. Hopefully you'll find Say'ri, Cordelia, Severa and such a little more appealing! -J

Really glad to hear you enjoyed it! And yup, you've got it right, that's exactly what I was hoping it would feel like, just a culmination of everything Robin's been putting into these girls so far, it's not all what he was planning or expecting, half of it took him off guard, but it's all everything that's been built up to this point coming together (obviously sans Miriel or Panne). Absolutely excited for Tiki myself too, but she's still a little ways off unfortunately. Next is gonna be Say'ri though, so hopefully that's a fun substitute? -J

Just got done reading it, and I'll say it was a treat. Reading the chapter I really felt like it did was in showcasing the culmination of development of the girls Robin has seduced and how they came to be where they are. With half the girls getting a scene together, you really see Robin's plans all coming together. Just think of where he was when he first went to Tharja and where he is now. This kind of development, and done so smoothly, is really awesome. And Olivia continues to be my favorite girl in this. Chapter 11 still is my favorite, but this one is close. Can't wait to see what comes after this now that things have reached a point where half the girls are comfortable being with Robin all together. Really excited for Cynthia, Sumia, Cherche and ESPECIALLY Tiki. Definitely Tiki. Anyway, excellent work. Cannot wait for the next chapter.
