The Modus makes it pretty hard for slaves to run away on the main continent, since their legal status is recognized across the continent. Calesco is a major runaway destination and harbors the most ex-slaves out of anywhere in the world. All of the nations have something neat going on, and I'm looking forward to getting to elaborate on them some more.

2022-02-06 10:41:00 +0000 UTCYou should add laws into lore similar to animal abuse laws i.e. a slave is treated too harshly and thus the owner gets punished for treating them too harshly, things like depriving food, water, medical attention, and things like say beating a slave to the point they feel afraid 24/7 should be implimented, itd make sense for a world which still has slavery
