I totally get this feeling. I also often get frustrated by heroes refusing to kill as a hard rule. It's like, these are villains that are murdering others with no remorse. Of course the first priority should be rehabilitation, but a person will not change unless they want to. What is the point of keeping them alive but locked away indefinitely? In the case of MHA though, I think it's a matter of drawing the ethical line. In most other stories heroes are rare and an exception in society, they are usually facing the most extreme circumstances and so it would make sense for them to need to kill. In this world, almost everyone has a quirk and heroes tend to act as regular law enforcement, so they have to be restrained from killing to keep a sense of order in society. To show that heroes also follow the laws like everyone else. That being said, I still think there should be exceptions made for the extreme circumstances like AFO and Shiggy, especially in the moment of battle. A hero holding back to preserve the life of a mass murderer puts both the hero and society at unnecessary risk. The base of this discussion is yet another thing I really love about MHA. The story examines the rules and challenges that come with a super powered society. Things like laws and licenses that are never really talked about in other series. It's a complete package. So good.

I really dont rock with heroes that dont kill, I get this is a show for kids and stuff and you have to always give a Disney friendly message, but it is simply unrealistic. To me this is why MHA is second to AOT, they didnt wanted to be realistic and have the MC killing the villain. I mean the show isnt finished yet but bruh. All for One killed all the people he killed because Allmight didnt killed him. Right now they are in a full blown war and they are stll fearful of killing the criminals that escaped. Yo there is no recapturing them, they need to stop playing because the villains dont play. I hate that Hawks needed to apologize for killing Twice, do you know how many lifes the man saved? I mean Deku is 16 so is kinda valid he has views like that, but adults should know better. Shimura´s question was super valid.
