Isn't it "Explosive Hero: Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight" and he gets mad when people don't call him by the full name (at least at first, idk about later xD)? :D Also that entire phrase is SO much shorter in Japanese, the entire "Great Explosion Murder God" phrase in Japanese is just "Daibakusasshin" so it's way shorter to say than it seems to us (love the MHA wikia too much xD)

2025-07-02 23:50:41 +0000 UTCDon’t know if you guys caught the meaning behind Bakugou telling Best Jeanist his hero name in 6x12, so I will briefly explain. Basically in the flashback before the name reveal, it showed Best Jeanist lecturing Bakugou on hero names during the hero internships (this happened in season 2 during the Hero Killer arc). Best Jeanist told Bakugou to come back to his agency once he figured out a hero name that aligns with who he wants to be. He was unable to return to B.J.’s agency though because B.J. went missing which is one of the reasons why Bakugou joined Endeavor’s agency. B.J. was also the person Bakugou was referring to in season 4 when he said he wanted to tell a specific person his hero name first, and refused to tell Deku and Icy-Hot. I personally don’t think B.J and Bakugou’s mentor-student relationship is highlighted enough, so many people are caught off guard during this moment. I still like the idea of Best Jeanist being Bakugou’s mentor because of their contrasting personalities and the various things Best Jeanist could teach Bakugou.

Also, his hero name is Essentially just "Dynamight", the "Great Explosion Murder God" bit is technically a preface just like his other classmates. For example "The Rainy Day Hero: Froppy" Or "The Sturdy Hero: Red Riot" "Great Explosion Murder God: DYNAMIGHT"
