2025-07-13 08:21:34 +0000 UTCThis may be an unpopular opinion but I like how in episode 6x9 one of Dekuβs flaws is highlighted and pointed out; at times he can be too self sacrificing and does not think about himself. In this episode it is to the point where his body is taking severe damage. He is so focused on saving everyone he ends up fighting Shigaraki himself and does not think of potential consequences. Like what happens if Shigaraki steals One for All, or if the damage to his body is so great he is taken out of the battle before they can win. Although, self sacrifice can be a positive attribute it can make people narrow minded and intent on doing things themselves.
