Demon Slayer - 3x6 REACTION!!

THIS EPISODE WAS RELEASED ON MOTHER'S DAY!?!? That is so diabolical lol 🀯🀬

NOTE: Right after finishing our reactions to 3x6 and 3x7, we were hit with a technical failure that corrupted both our mic and screen recordings 😩 Thankfully, we still had our camera footage (with lower-quality audio), and we’ve done our best to salvage what we could. The quality isn’t what we hoped for, but the heart of our reaction is still here. 3x7 coming as soon as we finish editing (likely tomorrow). Thank you so much for your patience and understanding πŸ’œ

Demon Slayer - 3x6 REACTION!!

Comments

genya became a demon slayer to try to remedy his relationship with sanemi (wind hashira). he said in this episode "unless i become a hashira, i can never meet the other hashiras". he believes that by becoming a hashira, his brother will finally acknowledge him, because sanemi has said "i have no brother". genya also uses nichirin bullets because he "doesn't have the talent" to use breathing styles, ie, use a sword.

Been waiting for this backstory to drop. This episode is the reason I was able to understand why the Wind Hashira reacted so harshly when Tanjiro claimed that Nezuko would never eat another human. If you recall, it was the Wind Hashira that so vehemently protested the fact that Nezuko could resist those demonic urges. It was him who insisted on testing her himself, stabbing her and offering his own blood to prove that she would give in to her baser instincts. Because if his kind, protective, patient, devoted mother could become a demon and kill her own children, why should he believe that any other demon would be able to resist the urge to kill others? I can only imagine what went through his mind when Nezuko was able to resist, to do something even his mother wasn't able to do. Nezuko is truly built different, and we haven't even seen the half of it yet. But knowing the brothers' backstory at this point, knowing they carry around the visible scars of their traumatic experience with their mother... Well, I forgive them both for their abrasive natures, because that's a lot of weight for anyone's shoulders.
