MHA - 5x18 REACTION!! *OTAKU GOLD*

Comments

bakugo seriously needs to learn "time and place" (among a whole lot of other things) i really like how endeavor was written along with the rest of todoroki family.. i see the situation and reflect on my own life and wish my father could be more like endeavor (currently). maybe "be more like him" isn't the proper way to say it, but i wish my father would genuinely feel remorse for his actions and actively try to become a better person like endeavor is trying to. my own personal experiences are kind of why i can't totally hate him (but 100000% understand natsu's feelings and the mha fans who do, like you're totally valid). he's what i wish my father could become and i relate a lot to fuyumi, i think we are pretty similar.

It was the oposite for me in the sense that my mom done messed up things back in the day and my dad was always my hero, but I literally see myself in Natsuo, I HATED my mom. My familly went to a similar pocess of what endeavor is trying. I lived with my dad and sister for a year and we barely saw mom, then she returned to the house and it took me a whole other year to get over the past. in that time I was really mean and rude to her because all of the anger, I was literally Natsuo everyday until the good things she did outweighted the bad ones. Nowadays I love her, our relationship couldnt be better. I do believe on people changing and turning things over. This episode, and this whole story is very relatable and impactful. I love how Horikoshi takes relatable stuff from todays modern world and put them in a fictional world. From La Brava being recluded in her room thinking about suicide just watching videos and developed a parasocial relationship with a youtuber, The Todoroki family story, Gentle´s story of faliure, getting stuck in life, rejected by his parents, seeing his peers succeed and he being forgotten. I dont now man, not another shonen anime had brought the fiction so close to the reality I percieve. This is why MHA is my top 2 just before AOT.

Hey J&J, Loved the reaction. That's what anime is all about! How we can relate or see ourselves in these characters and situations they are in. Horikoshi definitely gets us to think & feel. Please see my comment on the previous epi. It relates to this epi as well "Reap what you sow" keeps coming to my mind for Endeavor. Again as I said previously you can atone but doesn't mean you'll be forgiven.
