Jinwoo's might, and the lack of human death for most of this season, they tricked me. and this episode was the grim reminder. there's a theory about the ant son's actions here, and it includes why he spared the cameraman. the humans outside the mountain, who died basically instantly from getting beheaded: they only killed 'unimportant' ants. but the hunters *in* the mountain, in the ant colony... Cha Hae-in, who delivered the death blow to the queen, was hit *just* hard enough to cause maximum fatal damage without immediately killing her -- she's being made to *suffer*. Baek, Choi, Lim, Ma: they helped kill the queen, so they've also been made to *suffer*. and poor, poor Byung-gu... punished for healing Ma, by getting an ant arm through his gut. and then ended in one hell of a grisly chomp. as far as the ant son is concerned, the cameraman is harmless -- the cameraman didn't kill any ants, so he doesn't deserve any of the ant son's attention. he only cares about 'strong' humans; he's disappointed that all these humans are so 'weak'. it's why he left to go find Goto -- of the S-ranks already on the island, Goto is the strongest hunter. and the ant son wants a challenge; he wants to fight 'the king'. so. Here We Go. Jinwoo is incoming. boy, i've rewatched the next ep so many times; i'm so excited for your reactions. <3

Some other members here reached out and checked on me to see if I was okay, and the simple answer is yes, but I'm struggling, just getting by each day, still looking for a solid job I can keep longer than a few weeks/months. But I'll find something soon and I definitely haven't forgotten about you guys! Shoutout to those members for bringing me back here, I missed the reactions <3 Instead of catching up on everything I've missed, I'll just watch what is being released now and continue to support yall in the days ahead. The next episode is quite epic, my gf has already finished the season weeks ago, we love love LOVE this next episode. Yall are in for a ride of one of the greatest and beautifully animated episodes I've ever seen in my anime journey, top 3 for me for sure! LAST MINUTE EDIT - I proposed to my girlfriend a couple weeks ago and she said yes!!! We are planning the wedding for later this year!
