MHA - 5x10 REACTION!! *OTAKU GOLD*

My favorite character when I first started the show was Midoriya, and I do still love him a lot, but now I'm not sure if my favorite character is Midoriya or Aizawa. The first time we met Aizawa, I immediately thought "man, what is this guy's problem?!! 😠" and honestly, I also thought he was a fake hero and was actually a villain infiltrating UA as a spy even before there was any mention of a traitor (Kinda like Hawks but for real). But he quickly grew on me and he hasn't stopped growing on me 😭. Also like Jay, I am rooting for the underdogs in this arc 🥺 As much as I love Class A, I can't help but be curious about Class B. I want to know more about them and see them in the show more. I know Class A is supposed to be "better" than Class B, but I want Class B to win a competition against Class A at least once!! It isn't fun if the same team wins all the time. LET'S GO CLASS B YOU GOT THISSS. I feel like if the story of MHA were focused on Class B instead of Class A, Monoma would probably have been my favorite character. I liked him pretty much immediately after we first met him, but it's kind of difficult for a character to move to your favorites if you barely see them and don't know much about them. Is there a spinoff series about Class B? If there isn't please make one!! 😭 Even if it isn't totally related to the main story, but is just a short slice of life series that shows their training, classes, or even just how their provisional license exam went. That would be so fun to watch/read.

oh the good ol' runner's toe. lol. i used to do long distance running back when i was in high school and whenever id run over 14 miles, id ALWAYS end up getting runner's toe on one of my big toes. and gotta tell you it's always a relief to take that sucker off, cuz it hurts way more to keep the toenail attached. it's been over a decade since i've ran long distance, but about a year and a half ago i ended up getting runner's toe from layering thick socks over even thicker fleece tights to keep warm for winter!! what a blast from the past in such a weird way. im from southern california and had never even seen snow before but was living in korea at the time and was trying everything i could think of to stay warm since i had no experience with that type of cold weather. i now know to buy tights that have toe and heel cutouts because those super thick fleece tights can add a lot of pressure on your toes.

Lines that hit HARD this episode Uraraka: "Who protects the Heros, when they are hurting the most." That scene makes me teary. They hafta all watch out for eachother. It's not just one heros burden to shoulder. Uraraka gets the assignment. Daigoro Banjo the wielder of Blake whip: "Whats important is keeping tabs on your heart" Essentially saying with great power, comes great responsibility. Surely ya'll know where that line is from and yet again Horikoshi dropping in where his inspiration come from. IYKYK 🕷🕸💚

being the bakudeku shipper that i am, id be remiss not to mention that monoma was talking mad shit, but the second he insulted/ said something cruel abt bakugo, deku got so angry, he manifested a whole new quirk 🤣💚🧡 it's crazy y'all mentioned losing fingernails, because quite literally 3 days ago, my entire pinky nail was ripped off at work 🥲 it bled for about 20 minutes and hasn't stopped hurting since. at the moment, it's finally dry and slightly less painful. shinso needs his target to respond to whatever he says in order to have the brainwashing take effect. that's why he said to deku "fight me!", because he knew deku would respond to that. ALSO, can we take a moment to admire the ABSOLUTE bravery, heart, and courage from uraraka?! her jumping in to try to help deku, not having any idea what was happening, risking getting injured, because she knew something wasn't right? what a baddie. love love love her so much.

I love these episodes, and Monoma is one of my favorite characters. I really appreciate his philosophy that "we're all supporting characters in other people's lives, but the protagonists of our own," as if he's breaking the fourth wall with the audience, saying, "your protagonists are only the leads because you're following their story, but we, the side characters, are here too." On a different note, I want to take a moment to appreciate Monoma's quirk. He has the ability to copy the powers of the person he touches for a limited time, but I don't think people fully grasp how challenging it is to use that power. Every student in this school spends years mastering 100% of their own quirk, while Monoma has to learn to wield others' abilities as efficiently as possible within a small window of time, since the copying effect doesn't last long. Mastering a single quirk is already tough, but he has to get used to mastering hundreds. Great episode, as always, I loved the reaction.
