Jinwoo's reaction to his mother waking up is far less emotional in the OG comic, and some (loud) fans complained that this episode more or less made Jinwoo 'look less badass than he's supposed to be'. which, completely surprised me -- isn't it *more* badass for Jinwoo to have emotional depth? to still be able to weep in joy and relief, after everything he's had to do, instead of letting his experiences permanently harden his heart and dull his spirit? iunno. sometimes i forget that there are those who continue to equate the courage to be emotionally vulnerable with weakness. i love that this video came to us on mother's day, what amazing timing. whenever you speak of your own mother, the love she gave you both is so apparent and so sweet. i was definitely looking forward to your reactions to this ep, and i'm super (plus)ultra glad that i was here to see in the VIP tier. time to hit the nitro button for Jeju Island, let's gooooooo π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€
