And yes, he can literally transform into any form he wants that he can benefit from. As you can see, he's currently searching for a specific flower, he even borrowed a book from the library to read about it. And this current family he has infiltrated seems to be well off and the dad said he has some kind of lab or company that can create medicine. Its safe to assume that he chose this family to use their resources in whatever purpose he has for this mysterious flower he's after. Anyway, welcome to my favorite arc of DS! ♥♥♥
