2025-04-14 10:21:48 +0000 UTCHey J&J ! You're really liking this show and it will only be going up from now ! I would highly recommend watching Episode 1 of Season 2 before the movie. As you know, the next arc is Mugen Train. It was first adapted into anime with a movie. Then, in Season 2, they featured all the movie's content in episodic format up until Episode 7. There are no differences between the movie and Episodes 2-7. Episode 1 of Season 2 is different though. It is entirely anime-original (not in the manga). Chronologically, it happens just before the movie (or Episode 2 of Season 2). I love this episode and it's a good transition to the movie. I was shocked to see that it was anime-only. Once you finish the movie, you can directly go to Episode 8 of Season 2. Hopes that helps ! From now on, enjoy the (train) ride !

Also, it’s fascinating that Shinobu was much more hot-headed before her sister died, and so the gentle side that Shinobu shows presently is a way to keep her sister alive. BUT Shinobu’s gentleness as we’ve all seen can come off incredibly creepy and ominous and I posit that it’s because her original personality was more outspoken and so layering the more harsh side with her sister’s gentleness creates the uncanny feeling. Again this is why I love that Tanjiro asked Shinobu if she’s angry because it’s a super repressed emotion that she hides with her sister’s personality
