I don't really have a consensus on what people have liked more (watch movie + added episode; watch added episode then movie; or just watch season 2 with only episodes). hopefully that made sense....?

The thing I love about this show is that I can watch it many times and every time I still feel just as captivated as I was the first. Mostly definitely due to the combination of music/music score and stunning animation as we saw last episode. Looking forward to the rest of the season! (quick question, do you plan on taking a break after season 1 ends or will you be continuing? Genuinely curious because I don't normally know the flow is for your anime since I'm usually watching things from two years ago. If you need a break/were planning to, please please take one! You both are doing so much content and deserve some rest too :) Thank you for the hard work and amazing analysis!)

One badass thing to note : Tanjiro was surprised when he saw Giyu used the Eleventh Form of Water Breathing. That's because Urokodaki taught him all ten forms of Water Breathing. He didn't know an eleventh form existed. This Eleventh Form, "Dead Calm", was created by Giyu and is exclusively used by him. This type of feat is what separates Hashiras from other Demon Slayers.

I can’t believe no one brought up the fact that Rui’s voice actor is also the voice of Tsukishima from Haikyuu!! It’s the same dead pan tone that Tsukki is known for 😆 I haven’t watched a lot of HxH, so I couldn’t tell you how his voice compares to Meru. Another thing about the ranks, back in episode 5 we learned the 10 ranks of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro and friends are Mizunoto (rank 10) the lowest rank, while the highest rank is Kinoe (rank 1). Hashira is not on the list, so presumably it’s not a rank one could reach through normal means. As we have seen from today’s episode the Hashira are exceptional, a cut above the rest!
