i was like wow this voice is so smooth and nice. why dont i know who he is. but ive only seen his work in one other show, lovely complex. and i dont really remember the character very well cuz he showed up toward the end lol

2025-03-10 16:37:12 +0000 UTCFYI, My Hero Academia does a lot of cross-brand promotion deals in Japan. There was one for Pizza-La last year to promote the recent MHA movie. No spoilers for the movie (that I’m aware of) and no All Might, but there’s Katsuki and Izuku posing with pizza in casual clothes. There’s also an adorable illustration card of Shoto holding a stack of Hero Pizza boxes with the most 😐 looking face. 😂 It’s from the My Hero Academia Hero’s Holiday Fair. A lot of the brand promotion art doesn’t have any weight to the series’ plot except for new characters. I hadn’t watched or read this series for years despite seeing it everywhere in my fandom communities. I had no clue season three would get so intense let alone season one and two!! I have binged this show a good six+ times since 2021. Surprised that even now, I’m noticing more details!

2025-03-09 07:02:04 +0000 UTCThe end of this episode is one of my favorite villain entrances in anime. All for One’s voice is so fitting for the role - it’s so menacing while also kind of gentle. That combo really elevates his dialogue, and when you add in that piano and opera, that pure sense of dread is well conveyed. It’s unclear if the students saw him or not, but I want to believe they didn’t see him and yet are all wide eyed in fear because his presence is just that strong. Amazing scene and intro to one of the best villains.

2025-03-09 00:54:12 +0000 UTCwow i really love Edgeshot's voice actor's voice. i looked up his voice actor because i couldnt identify his voice, and he's not in many anime series. apparently he's more active as a singer and an actor. he's got a really nice voice!!! it would be nice to see him in more shows if he has an interest for it 🙏
