2025-02-25 05:12:28 +0000 UTCTanjiro full-heartedly won my heart this episode from the first time I watched it(like he hadn't already, lol) Just that kind look in his eyes when he looked at her as she went down actually made me tear up somewhat. Truly, Tanjiro's ability to be so kind to someone who did something, many somethings even, terrible? He's some kid to still be able to hold that type of kindness in his heart. If you notice, he began to use Water Breathing: First Form, but then swapped to the Fifth upon noticing her surrender. And Inosuke was just being so flipping CUTE this episode! Every time someone complimented him, he felt all warm and fuzzy inside, he's falling for the Tanjiro Effect! Tanjiro is so genuinely warm and just straight up nice that people can't help but like him! It's so sweet to see!

Lmao This spider forest arc is one of the best in the series, the moment with Mother is so beautiful and really shows how deep Tanjiros love goes, he will forget every context in a moment and treat someone with complete humanity and care, even when taking their life.

2025-02-24 21:28:21 +0000 UTCI think this is one of my favorite slayings in the series. It's such a powerful moment and there is so much going on here. We've seen the vicious, unrepentant demons that take great pleasure in their search for power at the expense of human lives. And then we have Mother, who has experienced so much suffering as a demon that she is willing to embrace death rather than struggle any longer And Tanjiro sees that moment and immediately changes how he's holding his sword to grant her a painless death. He does this despite seeing what she did to all those other demon slayers. Absolutely one of my favorite MoEs in the whole series.
