Chainsaw Man - Ep. 11 Reaction!! *OTAKU GOLD*

Comments

I missed commenting last episode lol, I had family visiting too and completely forgot to watch it! I went over my word count limit a little instead lol. Last episode was super cool! But Aki… poor guy. The Nanami man is cool though, even if he’s too rough with Power and Denji. I liked him way more on episode 11 though! He’s interesting! Aww, Nanami-CSM version is growing a little fond of his devil-trainees! I love it. The voice actor is so cool! Nanami isn’t even my favorite character, but I recognized his voice on the spot when we first heard it. Oh, I love this dude. Kishibe. Calling Makima out on her bull? I’m fanning myself (platonically), he’s so cool. He’s beaten Aki on my list of favorite characters. Because Aki’s gonna die horribly apparently and I’m distancing myself. Oof. Don’t get yourself executed, she knows your name! “You liar.” My guy. I wanna hug you. You wouldn’t appreciate it, but the sentiment is there. You the man. Raid time? Oo the zombies! Like from episode 1! Okay, the gun devil is a black market gun dealer… okay. It works I guess? It just sounds like just a Dude. Humanity’s the real devil I guess lol. It’s so normal. Oo, there’s how she knows all the names! Blackmail! He doesn’t know what he’s doing, providing her with that! Okay… that music change, the drums… something big’s gonna happen. Antagonizing her really isn’t the way to go. The yakuza don’t know who they’re dealing with. Your faces lol. She’s totally blackmailing them with their own families vision! Always, always knowing what buttons to press, how to strike to get her way! Okay, that was kinda cool of her. Still hate her, but kinda cool. Don’t die Nanami-dude. I only just met you. Please 🙏 This was a really clever way to give some exposition. I don’t usually notice much like that, but it stood out to me. Eep. Don’t like spider lady at all. The angel devil’s adorable. I like her! Rematch 🔥 Denji! Maybe offer a little help for your boy? I don’t think this death is horrible enough for the future devil’s interest… Next episode’s gonna be awesome! A shorter series would definitely be best, maybe. Maybe Solo Leveling season 2? It’s amazing so far! I don’t think I've seen this recommended much, but Noragami is really good too! Little spooky for my taste, but good! Watching y’all’s reactions make my day every time!

After you guys finish watching chainsaw man, I believe choosing something long is not in your best interest, for example spy family or Kuroku no basket. Instead, a shorter anime like DanDaDAn or even Cyberpunk are great options for their action packed episodes. Now, when you guys finish something like My Hero Academia or Fruit Basket, then a longer anime like Vinland Saga. Which is of similar seriousness as AOT, has great opportunity for breakdowns, which is something you two excel at, and has some of the best moments of story telling you could ever find. Much love and much luck to your future endeavors.

The Promised Neverland (Season 1 ) - Is a psychological thriller, which will have you on the edge of your seat, as it tests your deductive reasoning skills with each of its 12 episodes. Vinland Saga - I commented once long ago* that this show will change your life and I still stand on that. I personally believe it's a show everyone should watch for the message of the show. It's phenomenal. Code Geass - To many its on par with Deathnote. Need I say more? Classroom Of The Elite - Another show that puts your deductive skills to the test. If you're looking for something different to strike up conversations and strong questions this is quite frankly the show to do that. Watching it will test just how much you can pick up mentally, as well as how quickly you can do so along side the characters . Its quite good. Hells Paradise - This one is a Shonen however, watching this show week to week was actually one of the most fun 13 weeks in recent years, JJk Season 2 was airing around the same time plus Vinland Saga season 2. Just peak all around. To add more context to the show, simply the mystery this show will bring forth after each episode its a must watch. Heavenly Delusion - A contrast to the above mentioned show with the names, however this one is very similar to The Promised Neverland in a sense that its a psychological thriller, very strong animation, at the time of its release the animation made me excited for the future of anime. Its good. Inuyashiki: Last Hero - I'm just gonna leave this one blank. Lmao, but no in all seriousness this show is very let's say polarizing, you have two completly opposing sides of a spectrum, one of pure hearted kindness, love and compassion, you'll be teary eyed emotional, connecting with characters that feel real. Then you'll have evil. Simply put. Pure evil. The contrast between the two makes the show quite a watch. Afro Samurai - A show about a Samurai with an Afro? Do I need to add much more? Its a very a deep emotional story about the journey of an Afroed Samurai, truly a great show.

As for a new Sunday VIP show, I also suggest you guys continue with shorter series for now. This way you're able to see more of the genres anime has to offer. Shonen ( Fighting shows ) will always be the most popular shows by far. With Flashy animation, crazy twist and strong bonds built with the protagonist, even sometime villains. However there's so many more type of shows, Exploring a bit more to see what sticks out to you guys might be beneficial to helping, us the patrons to suggest shows based on what we think you'd enjoy the most. In the meantime below I'll add a few shows for the upcoming poll. There's some really good stuff in all the suggestions from various comments. Btw Do continue Solo Leveling season 2 don't even poll that one, it's by far has been peak each episode the last 8 weeks. Season 1 was simply the prologue. Which seems to be a common theme in newer anime.

Chainsawman is a series that gets better with each episode in my opinion. The first few are a bit off putting as you're getting accustomed to the world/characters. However by episode 6 you're pretty much sucked in by the Infinite Devil horror perpetual loop staircase. By episode 11 you're wondering if the show is just getting started. Which quite frankly it is. However that's not a bad thing. The story is very fast paced and the upcoming Movie will cover a fair amount. Naturally with movie budget animation quality. Season 2 will get into the ACTUAL story of Chainsawman, and let me tell you its actually insane. The surface hasn't even been scratched, the tip of the iceberg hasn't even been located. Similar to JJK you thought season 1 was wild then the movie was like "Nahhh I got this." Then season 2 came along and said " Hold my beer " and proceeded to be peak week to week.

note: all these animes above are very short like 12 episodes. I would put FMAB on the otaku slot bc it is too long for one episode a week. You are also both brothers so I can guarantee you FMAB will be one of your favourites animes of all time and it will be a blast to watch. will you watch also the movies from MHA?

Recommendation for new sunday anime series. No game no life, MegaloBox, Odd Taxi, Violet Evergarden, Puella Magi Madoka Magica (dont let the magical girls fool you) havent watched yet but will be exciting. Death Parade oh yes you will love this short anime. :) Anohana: The Flower We Say That Day, Terror In Resonance short realy good anime. I think it was my 3 anime ever. Erased great next anime or Serial Experiments Lain an older anime from 1998 about technology and with an great soundtack. ( have it on bluray but not watched yet) heard only good things about this anime. Elfen Lied would also be nice. (is on my watchlist) I hope this helps like I said. :D Sorry for this mess of an text. Have fun Raffi out. Peace

Fun fact about the violence fiend. The Japanese term for him falls more under gang violence or organized crime violence rather than violence as a whole. But despite this, he's a wholesome bean. He even apologized to the shark fiend for hitting him in self-defense and warned the spider devil, whom he thought was a human woman, to evacuate the building.

i think fmab would be too long for the sunday plot, Personally I think Kuroko No Basket is good and SpyxFamily.

Athrose

(ty for the Tolle & Carrey recs, i rly appreciate that)

Fear of angels is most likely, an extension of the fear of death, the angel devil is one of my favourite devils simply for the amount of potential doors they open for the world of chainsaw man. For an idea of how long csm is; S1 covers 4.5/11 volumes of the manga and the movie is scheduled to be released at some point this year and should adapt the next 1.5 vol. It’s probably never going to win a poll but recommending heavenly delusions (tengoku daimakyo), it’s on Disney+, 13eps, it’s a post apocalyptic sci-fi/mystery

yayyyy it's shark-Tanjirou! lmfao. you really can't hear the similarities in this ep, but in the trailer for the upcoming Chainsaw Man movie, you can tell that the Shark Devil is just Tanjirou on 12 cases of energy drinks. which leads into me confirming that this is not the only season of Chainsaw Man, there is indeed a movie coming i... think this year? and hopefully, more seasons of the anime after the movie, as well. (i have read the manga; the movie is gonna be *lit*) yes "me a psycho" -- "mirai saikou" [me - rye sigh - co], "mirai" being "future" and "saikou" being "the best/awesome". the Future Devil is ignoring a bunch of 'proper' Japanese grammar guidelines, just yellin' and dancin'. and he is in fact in the opening veeery briefly; try finding him if you ever watch it again, lol. this was also my favorite ending song! Violence by Queen Bee. their singer, Avu-chan, is an amazing human being. the official music video for Violence is wild. definitely gonna echo DanDaDan as my top recommendation for next anime. ...but i also just finished watching (most) of your Haikyuu!! reactions, and i'm losing sleep over how much you really need to watch Kuroko No Basuke. it is so far up your alley that it's climbed the fire-escape ladder to knock on your window. And Yet Also, i'm going to throw Link Click out as something to watch, too. it's a Chinese anime (otherwise known as a "donghua") featuring super powers and mind games at Attack on Titan-levels of complexity. brevity is not my strong-suit. awesome video, once again. see you for the last ep!

DanDaDan please 😭

An Anime recommendation to add for your next poll is DanDaDan. I think that would be a great anime to watch next, It only has 12 episodes as of now.
