It must have taken forever to animate a spinning room like that with stuff flying around. This anime is so detailed it's amazing.

2025-02-17 19:41:04 +0000 UTCOne thing I love about this series is how fleshed out even more minor characters are, really adding to the richness of the storytelling. Kyogai was berated by that man who said his writing wasn't good enough, was cast aside by MK, who said he wasn't strong enough. Like you pointed out, he ultimately just wanted someone to acknowledge his efforts and worth, and Tanjiro bestowed that parting gift to him, letting him go in peace. You get your first glimpse of Zenitsu's depth here. It's absolutely worth pointing out that he's more terrified of dying at the hands of a demon than he was of dying to protect something precious to Tanjiro. That's how highly he thinks of Tanjiro.
