Chainsaw Man - Ep. 10 Reaction!! *OTAKU GOLD*

Comments

I love this episode because you really get to see one of the main themes of the chainsaw man story come to the forefront for the first time. Denji confronting his humanity and trying to understand who he is and who he wants to be. Questioning his relationships and his wants and needs and trying to figure out what he is actually searching for versus what he thinks is his dream. Planting the seeds for future developments Also in terms of future series the below are all of Fujimoto’s assistants or his work Look Back (Fujimoto one shot hour long movie worth a watch to see his writing skill in a new light also like a 9/10+ rating on every site ) Fujimoto’s assistants (the talent working on CSM was insane) Dandadan: one of the best anime’s of 2024 very much CSM vibe wise Spy X Family wholesome family secret agent action show Hell’s Paradise epic ninja battle show Love that you guys take the extra time to engage with comments in your discussions really sets you apart, can’t wait to continue to support your future projects

yayyy it's drunk-Nanami! (the Japanese VA for Nanami of JJK is the same for our 'Coach' Kishibe here, lol). him stabbing Denji 3 times in a row faster than you can blink is one of my favorite animation moments in this show. i wonder what kind of alcohol Kishibe has in his flask... and Hell Yeah we're at the Future Devil. it's my fav devil of season 1. i think you'll quickly understand why in the next ep. as someone with a number of anxiety disorders, the future is utterly terrifying to me. i can logic my way through it all i want, and i do attend talk-therapy, but the fear is ever-present. which, thinking about it now, my fear of the future may boil down more to a fear of the unknown? or perhaps even simpler, a fear of pain/suffering? i'm definitely fascinated with how this show qualifies certain fears that have a lot of overlap, such as i would assume the Future Devil and the Eternity Devil, since both relate to instances of 'time'. Time Devil? i gotta stop, lol. great video, great discussion, great googly moogly i am impatient for these Chainsaw Man reactions.

I wanna share my interpretation of one of the scenes in this episode and a similar one from episode 4. In ep 4, after Denji finishes his fight with the leech devil, Aki is with him in the hospital and he offers Denji a plate of uniquely cut apple slices. Aki says that if Denji wants to protect his good life style he just needs to obey him and he gives denji the slices. I believe that the specific way the apple is cut is a metaphor for the specific way Denji has to live if wants to get what he wants out of life. Then in this episode, Aki is in the hospital with a basket of apples but is left with only 1, probably representing the small amount of time he has left to live. Then, as the 2 devil hunters come into his hospital room to ask him to make another contract, one of the hunters asks for his last apple, symbolizing how Aki will have to offer up the rest of what little life he has left if he wants to continue his pursuit of the Gun Devil. This is just how i interpreted these scenes, but i think it shows just how talented and creative the author is when it comes to the writing of this show!

Hi J&J, Thank you guys for your wonderful reactions, it has been a rough week for me and your content everyday has provided me with so much comfort and energy. I would like to make some anime recommendations, "Kids on the slope" and "Run with the wind", they are slice of life type of anime with music and sports themes, with only 12 or so episodes each so perfect for Sunday slot although I would recommend doing Solo leveling S2 soon as well. Thank you again for everything, love from Colombia ❤️
