By the way, League of Legends contain a lot of Magic, unknown, Myths, stories, tales. I won't go into too much details but you may know that there are Gods, Demi-gods, Celestial beings, Demons...and more. So there are quite a lot of entities other than mortals, let alone humans. Like I said in a previous comment with the Yordles (Heimerdinger for example) being spiritual creatures...well that's a portion of what you can encounter in League of Legends. Here we are in Piltover, city of progress that shines through scientific research. Magic is a scary thought. Hence why Heimerdinger told Jayce not to talk about the gemstones at the very start of Arcane. It can create chaos. Now, you may not have caught up, but when Amara is trying to kill Ambessa, Rictus has some runes attached to his spear. Those look like stones with green letterings. Well those are items that act like a anti-magic shield. Before the Jinx/Vi fight, Jinx is talking about a wispy wind woman saving miners trapped, that is a story about Janna, a spirit god known mainly through tales, controlling the wind. And they are at that moment in a temple dedicated to Janna. Fun fact when you know that it is linked to the ventilation system. Going deeper, during the fight, in the song from Woodkid you can hear a kids choir. They are singing in Shuriman, an other langage from a foreign empire (where initially Janna is from) and the translation is : "Beyond these walls, the storm's fury grows Over land and sea, the storm's fury grows But I have nothing to fear! For the blue bird is with me" It's an old prayer to Janna. And I'm restraining a bit with the details...ahah.

In episode 2, something funny with Sevika's arm is that "Get Jinxed" is getting played when she is fighting Smeech via the boombox gadget Jinx installed. Really a Jinx's touch or signature to make her own creation unique that Sevika will have to bear. Tough love. I read a comment once highlighting the fact that Sevika kept rolling her "slot" weaponry even though she's a pretty capable fighter. The addiction to gambling. She could have ended Smeech by brute force hand to hand combat, but she still went on discovering her new gadgets. In episode 3, it's already been commented but yeah Ambessa has goals. And through force, politics or calculated events, she will do anything to get what she needs. By allowing Reny an access to the memorial, it reinforces the feeling of insercurity and the anger towards the Undercity at a moment when people are still mourning and in grief. Plus, Noxus soldiers showed that they are capable of stopping such an attack. And you may understand that Ambessa is being tracked down by some mysterious magical forces which can make her even more inclined to do things that will benefit her.

She realized there was still Powder inside Jinx that protected Isha so she couldn't justify killing her little sister anymore. Cait hitting and leaving Vi was a parallel to Vi hitting and leaving Powder but the difference is that Vi came back and Cait didn't

2025-02-16 09:01:41 +0000 UTCThe beginning of this episode is one of my favorite intros, Caitlyn's mom gave her the key and it allowed Cait to learn about her mother's biggest project, which was to build the system that allowed the people of the undercity to breath without worrying about the Gray. But sadly Cait used this knowledge to poison everyone just to search for one person. I wonder if Vi was just telling herself that it was for the greater good and that's why she went along with that plan to poison her own home. I love how the songs in the show kind of tell you exactly what's happening lol. I don't know if someone else has commented this, but that flashback in the end is basically telling us that Amebessa was the one who planned that massacre at the memorial so that sh could get everyone on her side when she saved the day.

2025-02-16 06:08:40 +0000 UTCi loveee this episode!! the fight between jinx and vi with all the flashing between jayce and the others touching the arcane is inane, the animators popped off. i’m sure other comments will explain a bit, but there’s always been magic in arcane. i understand what y’all mean by this is the most supernatural things have gotten, but in this universe mages exist and are pretty widely hated. at the beginning of the show in season 1 jayce got in trouble for messing with magic. hextech has always been highly controlled magic, and yeah them touching the weird arcane bubble messed with all the hextech gear so that’s why there was all this lightning and flashing colors. i love isha and jinx :( that’s her kid now and isha trying to protect her is so ughh :((( and by the way it’s never actually addressed in the show but isha is nonverbal and deaf, so you won’t hear her talking

2025-02-16 02:54:42 +0000 UTCThis is definitely the part of the show that can get very confusing with so many storylines, so really don’t worry if you feel confused on one or two of them. Some things I can confirm: - Yes, all three ending scenes so far have been Singed. - Jordan you have the correct interpretation of the Ambessa / Reny flashback scenes. Ambessa purposely helped Reny plan the attack at the memorial. This both makes Piltover more scared and ready for war, while also making Ambessa and the Noxians look good, because they “saved” the day.

2025-02-16 00:58:48 +0000 UTCYou guys may catch it on the rewatch but just in case, a few things - jinx rerouted the ventilation system and that explosion sevika set off forced all the Grey to go to topside. Jinx just had different color Dye's to make it colorful. - The "acid trip" with Jace, Ekko Heim was also affecting All the weapons with hextech during the Jinx/Sevika vs Vi/Cait Fight - You can argue whether caitlyn would've missed or not really. I personally think she MIGHT have missed due to the hextech tripping out but. even if she didn't then she wouldve definitely killed both jinx and the little girl due to her using hextech bullets
