2025-02-04 01:56:48 +0000 UTCy'all got to the halfway of the ep. and i put down my drawing tablet. and steepled my hands in front of my face. and i griiiiiiiiiiiinned. and then the train scene happened, and then i was cackling the rest of this entire video. i'm glad my prev comment was just vague enough to pique interest; props to the Himeno / Denji first half for the misdirection. in seriousness though, this ep put me in tears my first watch. i've been into anime for the better part of 20yrs now, and i had *never* been surprised as hard as Makima's death. and then everything just kept getting worse. and then Himeno disappears and just... oof. like you guys said, it's so tragic for that to have been her fate. raunchy / unfiltered high-action nonsense show? Dan Da Dan. season 1 came out last year; season 2 is happening this year. Food Wars like Angélica mentioned is also great. there's also an incredibly wild raunch-factor to season 2 of Blue Lock, an anime about soccer. i have gone way over 2 paragraphs, i will shut up now. <3

Yall noticed that Aki used the sword that Himeno forbid him to use against the eternity devil? A nail shaped sword that got the upper hand over that sword assassin before he got back up. Gonna be difficult waiting to see yalls reaction for the next episode after this absolute banger of an episode. also pooor himenooo 💔💔💔

Like earning military stripes, almost like the shows you have already seen have earned you them. In my comment on ep7. The question could have been read or interpreted "do you think it you were better off having watched this anime when you did?" Another great reaction guys!

The beginning of the episode is stressing me out already, Himeno’s super drunk, Denji’s weirdly sluggish, and I’m really worried! It isn’t something due to Pochita’s heart or anything, is it? He had a heart condition before... What was that plan that Himeno mentioned with Makima? It set off a few alarm bells for me, for sure! 😠 Makima sighting. THANK GOODNESS! I don't know that my heart could have taken that! I'm not sure what about Danji makes my parental instincts go OFF, but they do. At least, apparently, she knows better, when she isn't black out drunk. And she supports his pursuit of Makima! I mean, it's a sweet sentiment, but still… not something that should be encouraged. Definitely too quiet... Oh WOW. I’m conflicted. I have my doubts about if Makima’s really dead? It seems too easy for me, like if Gojo had just Hollow Purple-ed Mahito before Shibuya ever happened. Sure, it's a bit of a relief that she's gone, but as a story, it doesn't make much sense yet. I'm not upset about it, but my boy Denji sure will be, and that makes me a bit sad on his behalf. They’re spreading fear!!!! They’re making the gun devil, all devils, more powerful by using guns to spread chaos among the populace! Terrorism! Denji! Is no one concerned about Denji? He got shot! Oh no… Aki! All those promises that everyone has made between them just got shattered on the spot. What an episode. Japan has super strict gun control laws, actually, so the fact that they had so many likely means the terrorists were working with the Yakuza. The man who knew Denji likely also confirms that. I need the next episode, quick! Can’t wait!

2025-02-02 17:28:32 +0000 UTCHi J&J, Just a heads up in something I think you missed on this episode, Aki pulled out his sword and used it, the very same sword that Himeno almost killed Denji for a couple episodes back, because it meant that Aki would lose years of his life and now he has used it. Also about the suggestions you asked for regarding a raunchy anime, mmmm don't know many of them but maybe "food wars" could be one.
