Like his classmates know he's an aggressive ahh, but they still immidiately wanted to be on his team because they recognize that he's so capable and a Strategic genuis. He goes so unbelievably hard sometimes lol Additionally it's the first showcase of the kirashima, Bakugo Bromance. Kirishima really is one of my favorites, I can't wait for j&j to get to know him better

2025-02-01 04:33:12 +0000 UTCthis episode is really hard to choose an mvp! i agree that Tokoyami deserves some spotlight, being a really strong player that chose to side with Deku and his team 💯 but yes shout out to Shoji for truly personifying putting the goal over personal feelings (much like a pro, maybe) because even though he didn't want to team up with mineta at first (because who would) he realized it was actually a great plan and they could have a strong chance at gaining points. plus i just really love Shoji.

By the way, I’m not sure if it’s more obvious in the dub, but the comedy bit around Tokoyami is that he’s an incredibly edgy character. So no matter the situation, he’ll just drop the most edgy, epic one liners, like “The fate of the pursued…” One of those bits that gets funnier and funnier the more you catch on to it.
