Should Have Let Her Play Pt9-Pt16 (Mini captions)

Should have let her play: Pt9

I looked at Mikey and was shocked. I asked her if that dress was the only thing she had to wear. She looked down at it and said no. I then followed up by asking her why she seemed okay with being a girl and wearing a dress.

She had a worried look on her face and asked me if I was feeling well. She even tried to check my forehead for a fever. I just backed up and told her I was fine and asked her again. She just shrugged and said the dress was cute, and she was a girl, so why wouldn't she be wearing it?

She then poked my tank top and said I needed to try it sometime. She even started talking about some of the cute dresses I had in my closet, but how on earth would she know they were in there since they literally appeared overnight?

I was so confused, but then I remembered my sister. She had no idea I changed; was Mikey the same? I thought my friends might remember since like me they were changed, but if they don’t remember, that means I have to figure out how to turn us back into guys on my own.

Should have let her play: Pt10

I asked Mikey, or I guess Miley, a few more questions, fishing for a definitive answer to whether or not she remembered being a guy, and well, the results were not positive. I asked her what her favorite color was, and she answered pink, which had been blue before.

I asked her what her favorite activity was; she responded it was baking, then she pulled out a small bag of cookies and handed them to me, saying she had made them this morning. Mikey baking is crazy, a far cry from his previous favorite activity of woodworking.

Lastly, I asked Miley if she had a crush on anyone. I knew the answer was a girl we know called Olivia. Miley looked down, held her dress, and got all flustered. I asked her again, and she blurted out a name suddenly.

She said the name Finn, which was a guy we also knew. Her answer confirmed it for me; Miley had no idea she used to be Mikey. She’s a completely new person. This means I basically woke up in a completely new world. I really hope one of our other friends remembers being a guy...

As Miley continued to tell me about her crush on Finn, I sat there worried about whether any of my friends would remember being guys. That’s when someone’s hand was placed on my shoulder. I turned my head around, and before I could react, Miley went over and hugged the person.

They hugged for a minute before Miley let go and turned back to me. I was then met face-to-face with this new person. A girl about our age who seemed to be a goth girl. She had a thigh-length black dress, black leggings and even heels.

Now, having already gone through this once, I knew this had to be one of my friends. So I looked at the girl and said, Leo. She looked at me confused and then pointed her finger at herself as she asked me if I was talking to her.

I shook my head and apologized, saying I meant to say Lea. She seemed to believe that and began to chat with Miley. I sat there quietly, thinking to myself. It was clear she didn’t remember, so that’s strike two, and I don’t think Henry is going to remember either.

Miley and Lea were comparing their dresses and chatting quietly together, and every so often they glanced up at me and then quickly went back to chatting between themselves like they were gossiping about me.

I really didn’t pay attention to it. I was just waiting for Henry to arrive, who was late as always. I was hoping that he’d remember being a guy like me, but I was preparing myself to go at this alone if he didn’t.

I remember what that girl looks like, and she comes to this arcade, so she’ll likely be back at some point; if not, I’m sure she lives around her, so I’ll make a wanted poster or something and go around asking people if they’ve seen her.

As I started to solidify my plans, we all got a group message. It was from Henry... well, Hailey. She said her sister had just dropped her off, and she was coming over. I looked over at my two friends already and couldn't help but wonder. One was a girly girl, the other a goth girl. I wonder what type of girl Henry would be. Perhaps he ended up as a tomboy.

Should have let her play: Pt13

I watched the walkway in the direction Henry was supposed to be coming from, wondering which of these girls was going to be him. There weren't a ton of girls our age with blonde hair around, so I thought it would be easy to spot her.

Of course, I was expecting another very girly girl like my two other friends, so I never expected the super cool blonde girl with very large... Well, that doesn’t need to be said. Anyway, I never expected Henry to turn out like this.

Lea and Miley ran up to her and started chatting with her and checking out her new leather jacket. I just sat there stunned. She had massively popular girl vibes. It wouldn't surprise me if she was a cheerleader and even dating the star quarterback.

Everyone stopped talking and looked at me. I felt a little uneasy and asked them why they were all staring at me. They then reminded me that I called everyone here to hang out. I let out an awkward laugh; that was true, but I was hoping someone other than me would remember we were guys.

I looked at the people who had formerly been my male best friends in silence for a moment. I was the only one among us that remembered being a guy the day prior. I wasn’t sure whether or not I should tell them, or if they would even believe me and help me find that girl.

I was trying to make up my mind about it when my friends got impatient. They began talking about what we should do. There were plenty of options other than the arcade since this was a big shopping district.

I shouldn't have been surprised when the topic of shopping for new clothes came about. Hailey and Miley were excited to try on some dresses, while Lea mentioned needing to restock her supply of black makeup. Hearing how naturally girly they acted, I knew I couldn’t tell them.

Even if they believed me, their new selves might not want to turn back since to them they’ve always been like this. I decided to go find the girl alone. So I made up some excuse about suddenly not feeling well, which made everyone give me this strange look.

They started questioning me about what was wrong with me. I tried to say my stomach hurt, but Miley pulled out several medicines that helped with that, some of which were only meant for girls, which was an embarrassing thing to have to think about.

I told her I’d be alright; I just needed to go home and rest. Again, they didn’t believe me and actually accused me of faking sick, which was true, but the reason they thought I was doing it was way off. They think I was faking sick to avoid going clothes shopping and wearing something feminine.

That wasn’t the reason for me faking sick, but now that they mention it, I really don’t want to go try on dresses. I mean, it would be so embarrassing to wear something so pink and frilly like Miley or black and lacey like Lea; heck, even Hailey’s outfit would be too embarrassing because of her skirt.

I felt my face heat up as I imagined myself wearing the outfits my friends had on. I really didn’t want to, right? So why did I feel so strange, almost longing to do it? I gave myself a firm tap on the head to get my focus back. I was a guy, and I had to find a way to get back to being one soon.

I once again tried to get out of going shopping with my friends, but they took my hand and said they weren't hearing it. They dragged me to the nearest dress shop, and we all headed inside. It didn’t take long before everyone split up to look at things.

The shop specialized in selling clothes for girls, so there wasn’t a single thing here made for boys, and there was maybe a handful of things that looked remotely masculine, so I felt beyond out of place in here. My friends, however, were going through racks and racks of clothes with no problem.

I walk around trying my best to avoid looking at things, but boredom takes over, and I look down at a rack of skirts. They had so many different styles and lengths. Some of them would go down to my ankles, while others... well, I’m not even sure the point of wearing them.

After a few minutes, my friends all called me at once. I turn around to see what they want and find each of them standing behind me holding very cute dresses. They asked me what I thought of them, and I answered honestly. They were cute and would be great on a girl. That’s when they all looked at each other and smiled.

Well, I'm looking forward to the continuation!

There was also a chance the girl from the arcade wouldn't even show up again, which would lead to the same result. Hopefully it all works out for them. There are eight more parts, so we'll see C:

Riley

Well, what can I say... Our main character's situation has deteriorated sharply and I, just like the hero, don't know what he should do... And what's even worse is that there's a chance that the girl who turned their entire team into girls may simply not know about what happened... She may, just like his comrades, simply not know about what happened and then... Then he has no choice but to accept it
