Side-note: LiSA is featured in a Stray Kids song called "Social Path" that is really good and inspiring. Hope this helps! ☺️

2025-01-07 05:17:56 +0000 UTCI think that what this anime lacks in terms of more plot depth and "aha!" type moments, it makes up massively in character development and really making you connect with the entire cast. Tanjiro's devotion to his sister and his empathy for others absolutely drew me to him as a character. The comparison to Denji is very accurate in that regard, and I'm sure you'll see that as you progress in the series!

It is a good anime and it is also a nice break from the other complex anime I watch. Also you cant help but love and support Tanjiro, he is such a great kid.

Just meaning they are stubborn and stuck in their ways. Remember how Tanjiro insisted on paying for the bamboo. That could be an example. Anyway I'm glad yall got to this series J & J. It'll be fun to finally watch the 4th season of this series. I don't remember why I stopped watching. I'm also glad to be back in your anime patreon. I had to stop for awhile but that's ok. 💜

2025-01-06 19:04:18 +0000 UTCWatching Tanjiro run with Nezuko on his back made me think about how everything he’s been through up to his family’s death has prepared him for this next phase of his life. Living on a mountain, walking up and down the mountain to sell charcoal, helping others and so on - I think a lot of that contributes to what we see now with his stamina, strength, sharp sense of smell (maybe even his hard head 🤷🏽♀️) and so on. He may seem weak now but with experience and a guiding hand, we know just how well he’ll progress from here. So glad you’re enjoying it so far ☺️

I do watch all of the reactions for every anime and movie you've done so far, even Arcane which I don't even find that interesting but your reaction to it makes it so much better so I'm trying to give the show a second chance just because of you. 2025-01-06 17:50:51 +0000 UTCAlright, I wanted to wait until this week cause I was late to watching last week's reaction to break it down to you my opinion about this whole anime. I believe the reason why the community is so divided over this anime is because its a much more straightforward Shonen over a complex story like that of AOT or HxH. Its made more recently too and the animation is a lot more "fancy" than other animes. Now, I don't think its as good as those other animes, but I still think DS is a solid show. The writing and story may be simple, but the characters, the music, and the animation are spectacular. I like to think of Demon Slayer as my "feel good" anime whenever I feel like life just "hits hard" as you know it. Tanjiro's endless persistence for hope and compassion, and Nezuko's adorable and fierce fighting style, it just makes me feel good watching it, so therefore I really do enjoy the anime. DS does have some weak areas in it, but so do pretty much every other anime in the world. The point is for you guys to enjoy what yall see and hold on to the good shit. I think the good stuff in this anime far outweigh the bad, and that should be all you need to know going forward. We haven't even gotten to some of my favorite characters yet, but oh man oh man, I cannot wait!!!
