They are many who are grateful but others have to see how fortunate it is that these two care as much as they do! I love them for it. However, I want no one to take advantage of that and respect J&J decisions. It's out right to do so as they respect us enough to hear our words, advice and criticisms.

Since something is “always “ consumed that way doesn’t mean that it can’t be enjoyed in a different format for a change of pace. Since I’m not from the US, we don’t even have the same English spelling of some words and native English accents can differ wildly throughout the US, Canada and Britain making it difficult for even native English speakers to understand.

2025-01-04 00:11:25 +0000 UTCWell there's a lot of non-native english speakers on this Patreon, I think that also influences the opinions regarding sub or dub, non-native English speakers will naturally prefer to watch it in Japanese with subs because it allows for better follow up and understanding, also it might be the way they've always consumed anime and they're just used to it that way. Sometimes the dubs have different English accents or make references that are not easily understood by people who are not from the US, this is just my personal opinion on why the subs might be winning.

I voted for Dub to help tip the scale, but the odds are not in our favor I’m afraid… 😬

I’m really disappointed that they didn’t just go on instinct to do what they wanted to for a change. FYI: We haven’t had a poll on their other channel in nearly a year. They go by comments and we understand that we don’t always get the content we would like when we want due to time constraints, the editing process and imo the extra work and time catering to this channel. This channel is very spoiled by the amount of work put in here.

2025-01-03 22:52:09 +0000 UTCi'm always a sub before dub kinda girl but fruits basket is the only anime i have to (and will encourage others to) watch dubbed. the fact that all of the original English voice actors came back to do the re-animation 18 years later really goes to show how much this series means to them. their hard work should be recognized and their improvement should be acknowledged and i feel like both of you would do just that 😊💚🧡
