A fact that makes me sad is that there is a mural painting of Powder on the Firelight memorial wall. Ekko knows that Jinx is alive, this shows that he considers that Jinx is not Powder, that the little girl he knew no longer exists and has been lost forever.

And to keep on the track of the meaning of his song Euphoria, that's my mood towards Marcus. Not to beat a dead horse, pun intended, he was not a good person. Dude grinded my gears. I could never forgive his character for kidnapping and imprisoning Vi, since he fed Silco the info that got Benzo and Grayson killed and Vander captured... also leading to his death. So if you ask me, Marcus has it coming since he didn't really change too much.

2024-12-24 17:52:11 +0000 UTCThe fight scene between Ekko and Jinx is a masterclass in non-verbal storytelling. Ekko and Jinx remembering a game they played as children together with young Ekko failing to dodge Powder's shot and utilizing it in the present to plot his advance gave so much weight to the scene ! The actual fight was not even 10 seconds total but the build-up, the tension and the backstory between the characters made every moment count. On top of that, showing them playing as kids makes Ekko’s moment of hesitation while fighting his childhood friend so much more impactful and powerful. We never saw that much of their relationship when they were kids in Act 1. It’s not just a fight scene, it develops the characters WHILE telling their backstory WHILE they fight. They told an episode’s worth of story in one scene of 3 minutes WITHOUT DIALOGUE ! Ekko was ready to kill Jinx, not Powder. The facial expressions, you could feel it. It’s a perfect scene. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since.

Literally every show always has a dying character being able to get out their final words right before they pass with perfect timing when it's more probable things happen the way it did with Marcus, wow, such a simple detail yet I've only seen this show have a character die this way

During the scene where she’s stapling her leg wound shut in front of the mirror, you can see some scraps indicating she’s building them. She also spray paints the wings with her typical pink color. Oh, and the song she’s humming as she walks across the bridge is the same song she sings in the first scene of episode 1.
