HxH - Ep. 141 REACTION!! *ALL PATRONS*

I'll jot this down for myself as well, thanks Alpha!

As this might be the last wave of comments you will read regarding HxH, I just wanted to thank you guys for such an amazing experience. It felt like I've watched this anime for the first time again :)

Leorio’s nen type has been revealed. He is an emitter. Between the main 4 we’ve got a full spread of nearly every nen catagory. Gon, enhancer. Killua, Transmuter. Kurapika Conjurer/Specialist. Leorio, Emitter. Zushi can be our honorary representative for Manipulators.

I wouldn’t recommend videos until they actually read it. No point consuming spoilers. If they want to watch it after they’re caught up and it’s a hiatus, why not. Unless there’s a good spoiler free one but I don’t see how that’s possible to make.

It is so funny to see Leorio amongst all of the three star hunters as a top candidate hahaha 😂

Loved that almost at the end of the ending song Leorio turned back and looked at Kurapika. Kurapika where ya at??!!! For the Illumi Bloodlusts, Hisoka is doing it on purpose to alert Killua of Illumi's location. Illumi wants to kills Alluka, but Hisoka wants Alluka to be alive to heal Gon if possible.

Idk if y’all plan on doing a post-discussion type video like y’all did for Death Note for HxH but I would definitely recommend checking out the manga or consume some content explaining the next part of it. - Obviously the best way to consume the content after the anime has ended is to read the manga. However, if y’all just want summaries or a brief idea of the plot there are short(15-25 mins) and long (1-2 hour) videos explaining the gist of what goes on. The reason I would recommend watching some of these videos is because there is unlikely to be an adaptation to continue the show any time soon(if at all) since the anime was “completed” over a decade ago. So I personally think it’s safe to consume a short video focusing on the premise of the next part of the story. - The next arc is very very Wordy, I personally love it cause it’s so complicated and nearly impossible to keep track of everything going on. Imagine current Hxh character details but with like 20 different Characters (abilities, loyalties, and motive for example) at the same time to keep track of (all still very interesting in their own regard). People have made literal charts to explain the connections of each of the characters. Which I can share some of them with y’all if y’all do decide to consume it on your own separate time or with us. Idk if revealing the name of the arcs yet is considered spoiler so I’m just not gonna do it lol.

I’m really glad to hear you guys are considering reading and reacting to the manga after the anime. Here are some personal tips: 1. Only read from the official translation. You can read on a few official websites like Shonen Jump. I believe they have a 1 month free trial and after that it’s about 3 dollars a month. 2. The new arc starts from Chapter 339. Be aware that it’s a very wordy arc. It’s actually the wordiest arc in the entire manga. But the benefit in the manga medium is that you can always reread a speech bubble if you’re having trouble following the dialogue. It’s not as much work as rewinding an anime episode 😅 3. It doesn’t feature some of the major characters many people are hoping to see post anime. It’s a very Kurapika central arc with a whole bunch of new characters. 4. Considering the huge cast of new characters in the next arc, there’s actually quite a few fan made guides to help keep track of different factions. So it would help to have that in another tab if you need to refer back to who that character might be if you don’t remember who they are and who they’re associated with. I can provide links to some of those guides if you ever need them. 5. Here’s a good beginner guide to reading manga: https://youtu.be/oHIsNd70nPQ?feature=shared
