I felt like he really saw just how great Hinata could become, and knew as a Setter, that Hinata is the type of player he wants to set to. I think it also means a lot because Hinata is overlooked by others and wasn't chosen for the National or Miyagi Prefecture training camp, yet here is a player who was invited and wants to play with him.

2024-12-08 02:21:32 +0000 UTCTo end the series is bittersweet and I can understand your guys's stance because as much as the movie is GREAT the 4 seasons up until now have been able to create meaningful, lasting and rewarding stories that can only be created in a medium such as those. Either way if it weren't for your Haikyuu reactions I never would have found you guys and I cannot express enough how much I appreciate your attention to detail, but not only that, attention to the actual content of the series. As a former basketball player myself, getting to see your guys' first time perspective on volleyball (the same way I was introduced) was incredibly introspective and allowed me to relive some of my own past great basketball moments while reliving my first time watching Haikyuu. Thank you so much for that, Thursdays were just DIFFERENT! And all in all J&J the GOAT! Also never mentioned it but I'm from Sweden/France, working as a project manager in esports. Also a massive New York Knicks fan as I lived there for sometime (Brunson and KAT LETS GO), speaking of which where does your NBA allegiance lie?

I've never felt the type of emotions I've felt watching Haikyuu, in any other tv show~ Furudate is such an incredible writer! What a bittersweet feeling this is 😢 In other animes you have characters dying; In Haikyuu you have the seniors telling their juniors that they're proud and graduating highschool. 😭 But cannot wait for the movie next week! 2024-12-06 00:20:02 +0000 UTChey guys! i've never commented before but i couldn't let yall wrap up haikyuu without saying something lmao it's one of my favorite anime/ manga and seeing yall going down the rabbit hole was really fun! i really appreciated your insight as former basketball players completely new to volleyball, looking forward to your next reactions🙏🏿 to answer your question we still don't really know why they've decided to end the anime with movies. a lot of people are suspecting it's because making movies takes less time and is much more profitable than making new seasons. animation is so time consuming and people believe that they don't wanna risk losing money. those are theories and we will never know for sure until the studio says something so take it with a grain of salt! but yeah people are upset because without getting into details to avoid spoilers, they're squeezing +100 chapters into two (2) movies. I just can't see how they can do that without rushing it and cutting important scenes and I'm kinda worried about the pacing too. it may be wishful thinking but a lot of us haven't given up on the possibility of a third movie or a new season lol with that being said, I don't wanna focus on negativity. haikyuu is a beautifully crafted story (shoutout to furudate🙏🏿) and deserves all the love and attention. excited to see your reaction to the dumpster battle!! sending you guys love🫶🏿

I hope one day we’ll get to see a video of you guys playing volleyball or learning how to play 😁 Haikyuu will always have a special place in my heart especially since our family loves to play (we’re actually meeting up to play tonight!) My little sister started getting into volleyball during the pandemic when she first found Haikyuu. Now she’s 13 and we’ve been practicing with her to get her ready for her school’s tryouts in 2 weeks. I took her to watch the movie in theatres as soon as it came out. It was both hilarious and precious to watch her reactions. She tried really hard not to jump out of her seat, scream, cheer and comment like she was at a game and not the theatre 🤣 it was that amazing! I hope you’ll enjoy it just as much as we did! 🫶🏽

The little girl, Akane, that you saw encountering Tanaka's sister is someone you have already met in one of the OVAs, she is Taketora's (from Nekoma) little sister , in that shot you also saw Liev's older sister next to Akane. To answer your question from the last comment, my twin sister lives in Europe specifically Germany, I am actually guilty of introducing her and her soon to be husband to anime and she and I promised to visit Japan together in the future where I will be her translator since I've been learning Japanese for a while now. Thank you so much for all the joy you brought into my life with your Haikyuu reactions, it means so much to have a space where I can relax and enjoy re-watching one of my favorite anime, I will miss it so much once you guys are done but we still have the second movie to look forward to whenever it comes out.
