but when the bomb explode not only Milo have had unlock all the lock on Vander but Claggor have also open a big hole in the wall, they have an escape route and Vander was free, as we see a hurted Vander whitout his gloves was strong enough to take on Deckard, so i dont know if Deckard would have catch up on them but even if he does Vander could have take him on whitout the damage from the explosion (or at least in the worst case buy enough time for the 4 other to escape), the show purposly let us see they have succed to make a escape and free Vander just before the explosion destroy everything, that's was the thing that make it worst, and is part of why Vi act the way she act afterward, she is also just a kid who only know violence she has grown up in violence, so her first reaction having all those emotion was obviously violence, but after she hit powder she see her hands understand what she done and chose to go away a moment to cool off ( wich is probably the best thing to do at this moment). the fact Silco got there at this exact moment and Marcus stop her was very unfortunate and lead to powder taking confort where she can ( in Silco here,) as a reminder she didnt see Silco at all before that, she have no reason to hate him, that being said Powder is also just a child with only good intend, we cant realy blame her for what she was trying to do, but she is still responsible for what happen sadly :x

The character development in this show is on another level each character can have whole essays written about them and it still will not be enough to fully explain them. Genious writing. Spectacular female characters, characters of color, and disabled characters that don't feel forced into the story (in a way that many modern movies and shows feel - just there to match “representation trends”)and captivating voice acting, everything is simply perfect. Btw, Zaun is what Silko wants underground to be - an independent nation, rather than an oppressed poor part of Piltover.

And the underground world is similar to Midgar, and the Arcane orbs is like Material. You probably don't know any of these things lol but a FF fan will. FF7 and 10 are the 2 best FF games out there. Arguably has the best stories...

2024-12-05 14:40:39 +0000 UTCThis episode was crazy, at least 7 characters seem to be unalive at the moment 😳 BTW I'm 99% sure Arcane is an original story that takes place in the League of Legends universe. The lore and settings are what connect the show to the game, besides that and as far as I know, that's the only things connecting the two. I also think that the show is called Arcane for the reason that it's seen as an original story instead of just calling it League of Legends and not using LoL as a subtitle to let viewers know Arcane takes place in the game universe (just an educated guess on that)

Powder’s crying scenes are especially impressive considering the voice actress was only 15 years old when she did them. The voices match so well the characters and their personalities. The voice casting is ON POINT.

This show is a masterpiece from the animation to the writing, the pacing of the stories, everything. One thing to mention about this episode. I agree with what you said about the stories going on simultaneously. Like it’s amazing. The contrast between Viktor and Jayce hitting a beautiful breakthrough in their science and the destruction that very science caused at the same time is striking. Two sides of a coin, the beauty on the topside and the destruction down under. So much change happened at once, one very uplifting and one extremely devastating. I think the tittle of this episode is very fitting for all that happened here. Brilliant writing

The amount of innocence Powder had only to be abandoned right after she was responsible for the deaths of Mylo, Claggor, and Vander...abandoned by her SISTER. And no, Powder didn't really save it from being worse, Claggor already broke through the wall before Powder's bomb went off. I am currently watching the next episode and yall, I dunno if I can handle this kind of trauma. AOT is the only thing I can think of that comes close to this kind of trauma

Powder’s actions and the results of them are the very definition of tragedy. She was so desperate to prove she could help everyone, but didn’t fully understand the dangerous power she had in her hands. I wonder what Marcus has planned for Vi? He seemed to be mad at Silco for pulling a fast one on him, but I do not trust Marcus at all. So it’s very curious he decided to save Vi? Maybe he wants to use her as an official arrest for topside? Idk but I’m fully IN on this now, I can see why Arcane has grasped so many people’s attention.

Powder, even though she didn’t mean to do it, Vi and crew would’ve definitely made it out without Powder’s interference. Vi should not have left Powder there, she was about to go back but Marcus had to intervene. I still think Vi leaving already did damage to Powder, on top of losing everyone. (Just a little side note/opinion: Milo was not a fav of mine. I actually think that if he was nicer to Powder, this incident probably wouldn’t have happened.)

I must admit that I find it uncomfortable and cringe when fans share live recordings of Japanese VA screaming. The cultural divide can make it challenging for non-Japanese viewers to fully understand or empathize with what they are watching, especially when it comes to the intensity of the characters' emotions. Nevertheless, Arcane feels more realistic because it is rooted in a culture that is more familiar to us, and the emotions expressed feel more authentic because we can understand and relate to them more easily.

Powder hugged Silco only because she needed comfort at that moment when she no longer has anyone including her sister Vi who left her. Things are about to get more crazier after this.. .

It was VERY likely that all 4 would have escaped the situation if Powder's explosives didn't happen. Another thing was that Powder felt betrayed by her sister (for seeming to have abandoned her) similarly to how Silco felt betrayed by Vander (who he considered a brother) so that could be one of the reasons Silco may sympathsize with her and have a connection.
