Lots of peak animation as well as traumatic moments of silence. Y'all still not prepared for it haha, but I think y'all will appreciate how the writer decides to wrap this arc. Can't wait to see your perspective of where it goes!

So yes, the King really wanted to know not only because he wanted to rule with a proper name, but we can assume he also wanted his boo thang (Komugi) to address him in a more personal way. Oh the things we do for love 😅

2024-11-25 04:45:26 +0000 UTCThe animation and soundtrack when Netero first revealed his powers against Meruem is probably one of the most amazing adaptions of manga to anime material I’ve ever seen. As a manga reader, I honestly don’t know how they could have made that more epic. They really brought that moment to life. The after images of Netero’s arms moving due to his incredible speed, his aura covering Meruem’s vision like it was the sun itself, the image of Netero’s Buddha in Meruem’s pupil etc. It’s truly special stuff! I’m not sure if you guys noticed this but one of my favorite moments in this episode was when Meruem finally agreed to fight and got into his stance, you could see the after images of his arms moving (similar to Netero). Unlike Netero who trained 5ish years to reach that speed, Meruem showed that he had a similar level of speed. Maybe not as fast but something close to it. And it was speed he didn’t really need to train for. He was born with it. It was a good example of Meruem’s natural evolutionary feats vs Netero’s hard earned feats. It’s a battle of a “newborn brat” with natural evolutionary traits vs the grizzled human veteran with decades of experience. Can natural talent beat hard earned experience? Let’s see who wins this battle!

2024-11-24 21:47:37 +0000 UTCit's almost ironic how Netero looks like the bad one here as the king wants to talk and peacefully comes to an agreement (as far as he said) however we as humans who lived in human society know how humans work, and Netero living 120 years understands very his position and the politics behind all this that the king who was born just a few days ago and destroyed anything on his way won't get. if Netero was to back down and not go for the kill, the hunter association that was given the mission to solve this ants issue would take all the blame along with the hunters and who knows what other repercussions especially as the king clearly says he will kill any human that he deems 'useless' and I believe by this he means those that weak or average or don't have any special skills... Now how many ppl actt fall into this category where they are satisfied living a normal life without anything special or unique going on. I still think this show portrayed society quite well with this episode. But now the most important thing is, you're about to witness one of the best fights in this anime, potentially in all anime (debatable).
