finally caught up with this! first time watching kaiju #8 and i can’t believe i missed watching this when it came out. kinda reminds me of other animes i’ve seen. for example, like tokyo ghoul (the ones who fight the ghouls where they get their weapons) seraph of the end (even if they are vampires) also kinda reminds me of heavenly delusions (maybe it’s jus me) but this is such an good season! hoping new season comes out soon!

2024-11-26 10:48:54 +0000 UTC"people ought to be judged by their actions" -- ahhhh there is so much wisdom in this show. i truly love it so much. i like how the show emphasizes that kafka now has a lot of ppl close to him, ppl who care deeply for him, however his one and only anchor is mina and the promise of what they can be together. its truly so beautiful. "a victory hibino kafka won for himself" is suuuuuuuch a powerful statement. it inspires the viewer to not only fight for others but for themselves. yes, others advocated for him, but ultimately it was his actions that won over director shinomiya. just as it was alluded to earlier by aoi, we must judge people by their actions not their words. beautiful storytelling. i like how you guys described ichikawa, how he is a calm, steady character. that is so on point. he is like a lighthouse to me, a stabilizing force that guides and lights your way. i am very excited to see what show you pick next to fill this slot. whatever show it is, i will stick around to see your reactions and insight. if i may, i would like to make a case for you guys watching Chainsaw Man. it's another short anime, only one season in. it is one of my most favorites, i haven't read the manga yet but i am excited to do so in the future. my point is i think you guys will greatly enjoy it. it's a little different because its raunchier and is very fan-servicy but the storytelling and characters are not to be trifled with. in fact, the creator is good friends with the creator of JJK, so they definitely play off each other, but each story is their own thing. please please please watch chainsaw man!!!! pls!!! anyway to close out my long ass comment, i have greatly enjoyed watching with you guys, hearing your insight, and experiencing your natural chemistry. it's been a fun ride and regardless what show you choose for this tier, i will be here! take care. xoxo

Great reactions, discussions, goofyness and the overall luvvv 💜 Glad you enjoyed season 1 as much as we did! So far we only know that season 2 is confirmed for release next year. Also, a compilation film of season 1 and a special episode titled "Hoshina's Day Off" are set for next year too, so looking forward to those 😊 If you want to explore other genres, as mentioned before by others, I think ‘Fruits Basket’ is unique, relatable and heartwarming. Another one mentioned before is FMAB too. Im sure there are other great ones. Would love to hear what genres you lean towards to as well actually. It would help patrons with recommendations.
