If im not mistaken, Knov's hair turning white was an implication that it was out of extreme fear and anxiety. A similar thing happened to another Anime called Tokyo Ghoul where the MC's hair turned white due to extreme torture inflicted on him. In real life it does happen too as per some people, but more likely due to stress.

When you think of an enemy, itโs usually somebody with the conscious effort to harm another person; however, in this case Komugi genuinely still thinks the King is the ruler sheโs accustomed to. That being said, she feels a sense of accomplishment being acknowledged to be able to play Gungi with the king in the first place, while also unintentionally getting better, this alongside the fact that she is making the King โweakerโ by bringing out his side of humanity (examples like when he protected Komugi and asked for her name)โ This is the main threat the royal guard are referring to and why Pouf also felt the need to kill Komugi in that one instant earlier. (I know it can become much clearer in the rewatch but I hope this clarifies a bit more)

The reason he did this is because he's a very recognizable traitor to the Chimera Ants. It's better to impersonate Flutter, who has always been loyal to the Chimera Ant cause and wouldn't cause suspicion if seen.
