Hinata is such a breath of fresh air. I love how he doesn’t hold back on the praises even when it’s Kageyama and Tsukki 😆 Sometimes he may not realize what an impact his words and positive energy have but his teammates and everyone who watches him does 🧡

Tanaka is not a natural blondie! His and Coach Ukai’s hair is bleached blonde. In many Japanese schools and companies, that is not permitted, so if you see that appearance people tend to think that they are propably delinquents. Do you remember that Yachi was so terrified by Coach Ukai’s hair in S2E2? In manga and anime, hair color is used to help distinguish characters. Hinata has orange hair and Kageyama has dark hair because they represent the sun and shadow. And if Atsumu and Osamu have the same hair color, it would be difficult to tell which is which, right? They are all Japanese, so if they live in the real world, their natural hair color is black. You can’t tell if the anime character's hair color is real.

Tanaka may be not the spotlight, but is a really consistent player, and (if I'm not wrong) is the only player in Karasuno that has played non-stop (without being replaced) in every set of every game of Karasuno from the season 1 to now.

yeaa i kinda think of it in a similar way. if tanaka says he has his heart set on someone else, that someone else being kiyoko, there's no way he's giving up on his feelings for her any time soon, and kanoka realized this while watching him play and show his devotion to a sport he loves despite being at a low point

I love it when Hinata comes and tells Tanaka his blocking was Date Tech level. So often we have a bad day and things just aren't going our way, in those moments find another aspect of the game to put all your effort into and bring yourself back into the game a different way and you see it when Tanaka comes in to help Hinata and that ultimately brings him back into the came and drop the hardest Bokuto-level cross shot.

I was gonna provide an example if no one else did, thank you for your service!

Should mention that he was from the season 4 Ova and his team cheats and acts like snakes

Crossing underneath the net is allowed as long as ball travels outside antenna without entering opponent’s court. Here is a video from one of the Japan’s national team games, where Yuji Nishida does this at around 3:15: https://youtu.be/HQZxg6qlP9c?si=J8FwWomJ6-FJ_jXB&t=3m15s , looks really cool in real life too

Maybe I’m wrong, but the way I interpreted Kanoka’s heart broken statement was that she realised Tanaka really would not give up until he succeeded when it’s something important to him, so the fact that he gave up on her after seeing her brother showed he wasn’t really that devoted to her. On the other hand, Kiyoko straight up rejected his proposal but he’s still going after her for the past 2 years. Kanoka seeing him make that point was proof of his devotion to volleyball, devotion that he didn’t really have with her, but that we know he has for Kiyoko

Tanaka has been working on that sharp cross spike since he saw Bokuto do it in the middle of season 2's training arc. To see him be the very embodiment of perseverance, his advice to his childhood friend of "just keep trying until you can" being fully actualized on SET POINT is one of my favorite moments of all anime. 31:10 that's the Nohebi Captain and his girl, the one who broke up before when he was devoting all his time to training for the qualifiers.
