hey jared and jordan i just wanted to say the thing that the grandson ate im like 90% sure its like toji dna of some sort and btw she said zenin toji not fushigoru which i find way scarier because in my head that means this is prime toji like before he got married and got rusty what we are seeing is a beast right now. (just incase u struggle with my name just call me seven lol)

Divine Dogs : a pair of twin wolves, one white and one black. Once the white one was killed by the Finger Bearer in the juvenile detention center, all its power was passed on to its black twin. 2. Nue : a winged shikigami armed with electric-shock wings. 3. Toad : a large frog shikigami that can use its long tongue. 4. Great Serpent : a giant snake shikigami. In his fight with Sukuna, Megumi's Great Serpent was ripped apart by Sukuna and was completely destroyed, preventing it from being summoned ever again. 5. Max Elephant : an elephant shikigami. 6. Rabbit Escape : a massive swarm of rabbit shikigami that serve as a distraction. So, there are still 4 shikigami left that we haven't seen yet (the name of the technique being Ten Shadows Technique, we know the user can summon 10 different shikigami).

Ogami and Jiro are curse users who worked together in the past to make money. Their freedom to commit crimes and curse people stopped with Gojo's birth. That's what we see in the flashback, they are literally shaking about it. Ogami's "grandson" is not her actual grandchild but one of the numerous children she kidnapped. She falsified their relationship so that he believes her to be his grandmother and would follow her orders (not a spoiler, it's just that the anime skips this little detail). Ogami's technique is the Seance technique. It allows her to transform herself or a willing participant into a deceased person. After recited an incantation, she transformed her "grandson" into Toji by stating the birth name of her desired target : "Zen'in Toji". It's like a real seance basically, where you try to make contact with the dead through the agency of a medium. Ogami is careful enough to summon only the body's information and not the soul's. This allows the shape-shifter to utilize the physical abilities of the target without reviving their personality.

The nails have the veil technique saved into them, and they just need someone to pour in cursed energy to activate them and protect them, in this case those three (granny Ogami, Awasaka Jiro and grandson (couldn't find his name)). Yuji was telling Ino what Mei Mei had told him (the little cut away between was him explaining, you didn't miss anything they just didn't show it), that being outside of the veil instead of protected behind it made the veil stronger, and additionally, being somewhere conspicuous strengthened it even more, all because that puts them in more danger of being defeated. In other words, the more at risk they are, the stronger the veil

2024-10-28 20:18:12 +0000 UTCThe old guy Megumi and Yuji are fighting was in the flashback with the granny character, he was the one talking about fighting the "weak" and how its something he lives for, but when him and granny were scouting out Gojo, they were terrified of him because Gojo could sense em. They are like hired assassins and preying on the weak is their number one contract to look for.

When they said they had their “freedom taken away”, they meant they couldn’t freely kill people anymore, since Gojo could easily come for them if he deemed them a problem. Which they obviously were, using cursed techniques for psychotic levels of killing. When Ino first showed off his seance technique, granny remarked “Quite the coincidence”, because she is also a seance technique user, though rather than summoning auspicious beasts like Ino, she can transform herself/others into dead people, Like Toji, presumably by ingesting part of the corpse.
