2024-10-13 17:05:57 +0000 UTCkiyoko throwing the bag to yachi symbolizes her handing over the responsibilities of the manager job to yachi, as kiyoko will be gone after the nationals tournament. i think it was a beautiful way to portray the trust in the new generation :) also i love how everyone is nervous, its totally understandable. even Coach is sweating bullets haha. funnily enough, kageyama having trouble with his precision in the first match isnt even caused by nervousness. as they explained, if youre in a totally different gym with different size proportions, higher ceilings, brighter lights etc, it messes with your spatial awareness, which is crucial for volleyball. I have that problem a lot when i play beachvolleyball. In the gym, the ceiling is kind of a point where i measure from how high a toss is for example. so not having a ceiling and just an open ended sky when playing beachvolleyball, messes up my timing so often and makes me miss the tosses. it takes some time to get used to, and ofc, because kageyama is so talented, he gets used to it really quickly. this was a great reaction, I'm looking forward to next week :)
