Beautifully written, agreed It wasn’t completely directed at the ants but more so like the conglomerate of species that makes them what they turn out to be, weather it comes out with a loyal protective ant like colt and others or something very evil like many others

idk about the "vicious monster" part, i mean yes is true they are monster but i've always though this ruthless scene is happening because they become more human, Ants doesnt have a strong ego to begin with, here they began to develop individualism and ego with human gene, also shooting repeatedly at a dead body while laughing is typicaly human, i dont think chimeras ants from a generation prior to the queen would waste their energy on a corpse just to enjoy themself. PS: nothing to do with ur comment but i've always hate when poeple said "he is human" to talk about someone who show positive trait and great morality, lets said something like empaty for exemple, yes being kind and caring for other are part of humanity, but murder, rape, torture ect are also "human" that is why we make law btw... human have good and bad trait, and this arc had done a great job to turn the table so far and making us look at human from a outside perspective, the Ants seems to treat human the same way human treat other species (in a more ruthless way for sure, but they dont have "human morality" or concept of good and evil (well tbf these Ants dont seems to have the mentality of newborn but in therm of life experience they are basicaly newborn, and we've all seen human kid crush firebug or ant whitout any second though, the reason is the same, young children dont have concept of good and evil either) the Ants that said he want a "pet" human in EP 79 is an exemple, hunting for pleasure instead of feeding purpose is an other one, having a gun feeling powerfull and enjoy the thrill also sound very human to me... but i have to admit most of them have only show us some of the bad human trait :x well we do have Peggy that seems to be gentle, driven by learning new thing and reading book and Colt have shown a sense of responsability and loyalty.

Ponzu was dead when she was shot point blank. Ponzu’s dead body was eaten by the Chimera Ant. So no she didn’t survive. It shows yet again that some Chimera’s aren’t following the script. They hunt for their own pleasure and eat their targets, despite being mandated to give the Queen all the prey. Gyro and Pokkle were taken to the queen to be eaten.

Ponzu's desperate measures to alert ANY hunters was absolute aot vibes desperate, it was so ruthless how fast it happened but that's the reality of the ants, they are vicious monsters and the fact that they are starting to learn nen just makes one think of how much stronger the royal guards might be, let alone the king himself

You better be reviewing those nen notes😭😭 we already see that the spider ant (I forgot his name) being able to see Pokkle's nen. It won't be long before they can start using nen.

Hoping Pokkle didn't get pokkled. Pokkle's Nen ability, Rainbow Seven Spectrum Array, allows him to transmute his aura into seven differently colored arrows, each with a unique attribute which he then will emit. Anyways.. Kite fears that the Ants and NGL is the worst combination imaginable.. So if Hunters with strong Nen is added to the dietary recipe, Good Game??!!
