Yeah, japan doesn't care what the western world thinks, that's why you'll see controversies online so many pieces of japanese media that americans and other western countries take issue in, but japan is like a honey badger, it doesn't give a fuck about others, and i respect them for that

Maybe that's why their dynamic works so well, I feel like Gon might have gotten himself in some even worse situations without Killua's more logical approach. That description of their relationship, with Gon being selfish and Killua being selfless, is kind of spot on when you think about it on a deeper level. That was a great comment because it's something I've been thinking about but didn't quite know how to word.

2024-10-01 22:04:27 +0000 UTCI just want to bring to your attention that this story was written as a manga back in 1998 and even if we say it took some years to get to this point (approximately around 2006-2007) I think that was way before the n word became a taboo to say esp in japan they are very far from this in their own little world.. On any case, the fun has came to an end, now I hope you get ready for what is to come. I look forward to your reactions to the next arc ^^

The pronunciation will sound exactly like the n-word without the hard R. Considering that Japanese has such similar sounding words, I don't think the author had the n-word in mind when he wrote this.

She's such a great addition to the arc and an undeniable standout among the different people who help Gon & Killua on their journey. Regarding the next arc, all I have to say is have your notebooks ready and be patient. It's not my personal favorite for reasons I won't spoil, but it really takes HxH to the next level thematically, and it's done so well that I can't even be mad about it lol π Can't wait to see y'all's heads explode!

It is PROFOUND and a MASTERPIECE. According to anime fans, this arc is subjectively the greatest anime arc of all time, there are other animes like AOT that have competition with that. After finishing, HxH is now my second fav anime AND TV show of all time, second to Attack on Titan. I love love love LOVE how good this next arc is and cannot wait to see y'all's raw reactions to it π

Usually we get explanation to how somebody powers work only one time (when powers introduced), but in Hisoka case its every time he used it. It happened first time in Havens arena arc, then in Yorknew arc and in Greed Island arc. Because it was said so many times in anime, people made meme out of it and start saying it everywhere. And its not last time we will hear that Bungee Gum possesses the properties of both rubber and gum.
